What a travesty. This is the same Roy Cooper whose authoritarian and draconian lockout orders did so much damage to small business, without accomplishing a thing to help with Covid. Roy Cooper has shown himself an enemy of small business.

RINOs Thom Tillis and Mitch McConnel played a significant role in saddling America with this ourrageous "Inflation Reduction Act". They did so in colluding with Biden to help him pass his fake "Infrastructure" bill through the regular legislative process, letting him get cloture on that so he did not have to use his "budget reconilliation" slot for that bill, That allowed him to keep that slot to use to get the fake "Inflation Reduction Act" passed by using the budget reconcilliation process. Without the collusion of Tillis, McConnell and other RINOs on the phony "Infrastucture" bill, Biden would have had to have used his "reconcilliation" slot for it and not had it available for the Infration Reduction Act.
Thanks a whole hell of a lot, Thom and Mitch. See you in the primary, Thom.

Biased journalism like that found at PBS is NOT "honest journalism. Real journalism tells both sides of stories, which progressive PBS fails to do. It is a propaganda organ, not real journalism. Elon Musk was quite right labeling it government sponsored media.
PBS operates in the tradition of Radio Moscow of Soviet times. It preaches the far left narrative instead of honestly presenting the news.

Only a "woke" loon like LIttle Bobbie would think Walker any dumber of a Georgia politiican than Georgia Democrat Congressman Hank Johnson who told a Congressional committee he was afraid that the island of Guam would tip over and capsize. www.youtube.com
Warnock is also dumb as a box of rocks, so Walker did not have much to have to compete against in terms of brain power. Walker was also light years ahead of Fetterman in terms of mental accuity. Bobbie's far left extremism fails because he thinks Johnson, Fetterman, and Warnock are smart. As far as not being based in reality, Hank Johnson is the one who takes the cake and Fetterman is not far behind.

If you would vote for Fetterman over his Muslim opponent Oz because you thought Fetterman had a properly functioning brain, then maybe you should call yourself a racist.
I watched the Georgia Senate debate, and Walker came across as at least as smart as his Democrat opponent Warnock. What threw that race was the biased Democrat media's feedng frenzy on Walker's personal life while ignoring worse transgressions in that of Warnock. For one thing, Walker is a heck of a lot smarter than Hank Johnson who thought the island of Guam was in danger of tipping over and capsizing.

Hershell Walker has a much better brain that Democrat Congressman Hank Johnson who claimed stationing more Marines on Guam might cause the island to "tip over and capsize". Walker had some misseps in his personal life, although not as bad as the missteps of his Democrat opponent, but Big Media swept those of the Democrat under the rug whle highlighting those of Walker in an all too typrical example of blatant political media bias.
If you have forgotten Hank Johnson's idiot comments, this video should remind you: www.youtube.com

Denial is NOT a river in Egupt, LIttle Bobbie. There have been numerous links showing that children are being subject to mutilation surgery and heavy duty drugs for gender transition, including a couple with a lesbian woman nurse who worked in one of the hospitals doing it and is now a whistleblower. It is happening and you support that "trans" movement. The problem is that you are such a parrot of the far left narrative, that you really believe that anything not in that narrative must not be true. I searched on this site and found the outside link to several of those articles. Here is one of them:
www.dailymail.co.uk And you still call things that are NOT even close a "lynch mob" while refusing to condemn the REAL lynch mob that attacked Riley Gaines.

In your twisted mind, Little Bobbie, you call genital mutilation of children "gender affirming care" and you have routinely support it. When conservatives support protecting children from this harm, you want to say that is "hating" somebody. In reality, it is you radical lefties who are the haters. There was a 14 or 15 year old girl who was a student in the Beaufort County Early College program who spoke to the Beaufort County Conservative Club a year or two ago about how she was being taught CRT there even though the school officials claimed it was not being taught in the county schools. She also said that there was radical gender theory being espoused there. I later heard that this same girl dropped out of school and got a GED due to all the left wing political mess being pushed at the Early College program. The Early College program is run by Beaufort County Schools.

We have not voted for Greg Murphy since his series of cancel culture votes against the South, and will not in the future. We won't vote Democrat, as they are worse, but we will skip Murphy. Commented on Beaufort County School Board meeting May 2, 2023History should be taught from an AMERICAN perspective, not a globalist perspective or a woke perspective, and it should be taught honestly. Different groups should not be pigeonholed as "victims" or "oppressors" to fit some extremist political narrative. Evertything in life does NOT revolve around race, except to the racists on each side, and the leftwing race hustlers like you, Bib, are as much racist as the KKK.

There was a post on this site last year of an old New York Times article earlier during HItler's reign where they were just imposoing gun control on the local levels, and the Nazis claimed that Jewish people were attacking Nazi officials and that caused the need to take away guns. I highly doubt that such attacks were actually happening, but I strongly suspect those Jewish folks wished they still had their guns when the gestapo came to take them away to the camps.

Commented on Beaufort County School Board meeting May 2, 2023That tape shows we have a bunch of pathetic seat warmers on our school board, who are yes men / women for the superintendant and his minions. Some have an "R" by their names but do not seem to be much of real Republicans. Some are openly Democrat. A few seem to really care, but they are a minority of the board.
That Dr. Phillips told them last meeting that the Bridges curriculum was "not common core". This meeting they had to admit that Bridges website boasts about how their curriculum actually aligns with Common Core. Was Phillips just uninformed last meeting or was he deliberately trying to mislead them? Neither answer speaks well for our school bureaucracy. Watching some of the school board members dance around why they would still vote for a curriculum that aligns with the failed Common Core AND contains woke "social justice" components would be amusing if it were not sad for our students. So, "experience teachers" might delete the social justice dogma? What about less experienced teachers or those who buy the leftwing dogma of the radical NCAE? Experienced teachers might take out some of the Common Core elements? What about inexperienced teachers or lazy teachers or teachers who think they need to follow what is given to them? The parents of Beaufort County were offered silly excuses, not a solid math curriculum free of political indoctrination and without the failed Common Core which damages students math ability.

Commented on What the Blue Cross Blue Shield bill is really aboutThe sponsor of this bill allowing Blue Cross to loot its own reserves, which is contrary to the interests of those covered by its health insurance, was sponsored by a liberal Thom Tillis Republican, Rep. John Bradford (RINO-Mecklenburg). In fact, Bradford was Tillis' own hand picked replacement when Tillis left the seat to go to Washington. Bradford also has a liberal voting history on major liberal bills, like letting men into women's restrooms and locker rooms, saddling electric ratepayers with NC's Green New Deal, and socialized medicine with the Obamacare Medicaid expansion. Now this liberal scumbag wants to succeed outstanding conservative Dale Folwell as our State Treasurer. That is just not acceptable.

Censorship of history and literature is just wrong. Great literatrue is great literature, period. Mark Twain is also getting censored by the left, which wants to push his great works out of libraries. As to the "N word", most of the times I have heard it in my own life has been from black folks unhappy with another black person. I have not heard it from a white person in decades. Apparently, there is a double standard on use of that term. One does not junk great literature just because sensibilities over language change.
As to warnings, there is a whole lot out there that probably ought to have a Marxist warniing on it with a hmmmer and sickle these days that is put out by the modern left.

Some of those comments on the Daily Haymaker point to the real problem here. We have certain Republican legislators, including those in the leadership, who ought to mount red lights above their office doors because they are such prostitutes for the special interests. The state senator who (mis)represents Beaufort County is one of those, Jim Perry of Kinston.
Like the NC Green New Deal and the Obamacare Medicaid expansion, NC consumers are being screwed to the wall to pander to the crooked special interests. Big companies like Duke Energy, which has an electric monopoly in most of North Carolina, and Blue Cross, an oligopoly with 83% of the medicial insurance business in North Carolina are being heavily favotred over John Q. Citizen. Jim Perry is trying to be the best politician that special interest money can buy. We should not forget the chief sponsor of this corrupt special interest bill, Rep. John Bradnford (RINO-Mecklenburg, who was liberal Thom Tillis' handpicked replacement in his old NC House seat when Tillis went to Washington. Now Bradford is trying to run for Dale Folwell's job as State Treasurer. Electing Bradford would be an unmitigated disaster and we need to stop him in the primary. If not, then conservatives should just sit out the general election for State Treasurer or if available vote for a protest candidate such as a Libertarian. The Democrat is certain to be as bad as Bradford.
