I suggest you go read the laws on background checks to buy guns. They look at mental health records as well as criminal records. With recent events, that should be expanded on the mental health side to look at gender dyshoria records.

We have existing national gun purchase laws that require background checks, including checking on mental health issues, for buying guns. Perhaps gender dysphoria needs to be added to the mental health issues checked on.

We have also had mental health laws on the books at state level for many, many years that deal with a wide range of restrictions on those with mental health problems, including commitment to mental health facilities, and they include proper hearings with due process. Those laws were on the books long before the far left came up with their "red flag" laws that focus only on guns and almost always deny due process.

A French Senator has been indicted for tweeting "immigration kills" after a brutal murder of a young French girl by an illegal alien. Governor deSantis and the FLorida legislature are doing a great job of protecting children. They banned boys in girls sports and in girls restrooms and locker rooms two years ago, and have told Biden to pound sand on that issue. They will sue him if he tries to abuse power to force boys into girls sports. Governor Noem of South Dakota has also said her state will sue. Florida's medical board has also shut down the genital mutilation of children or chemical castration for "gender reassignment". Florida is really standing firm for common sense.

An ignoramus like Little Bobbie does not comprehend that these mass shooters are cowards and attack gun free zones where they expect no one to be armed to shoot back. The Nashville police revealed that this transgender terrorist evaluated several sites to attack and chose this one because of no security. Arming trained and vetted teachers and posting signs that teachers were armed would have saved the victims of this domestic terrorist attack. Gun free zones are nothing but magnets for these terrorists. The head mistress died when she approached the transgender terrorist to try to stop it. Everyone would have been much better off if she had approached with her own pistol instead of being unarmed. Florida has not had this problem again since they passed a state law allowing arming of teachers.

It would be great to have an answer from both. Has this been forwarded to them? I would bet money they will split like the did on Obamacare Medicaid expansion, where Kidwell voted with the taxpayers and the grassroots against it, but Perry, who is in bed with Big Medicine, supported it.

In North Carolina, with the rules in our state, Obamacare Medicaid expansion will provide money for woke hospitals like UNC and ECU to do child genital mutilation surgeries. Jim Perry sold us down the river on that one.
