This might be a firm solution to counter the "Higher Education Grist Mill" racket.

Often politicians from districts never face a decent challenge from a bright and skilled citizen of better intentions, and that bothers me, especially when corruption is all but certain in a particular type of politician as they rule rather than wisely govern.

These corrupt politicians will often commit nefarious deeds of infamous purpose to achieve the continuance of their position.

If there are to be districts in the final analysis, there must be enough at-large positions, where the People can elect county-wide commissioner seats of a higher purpose in order to dilute these probable crony political actors of low skill, and of a sorrier purpose.

This is a good sign, but the struggle against pansy fascists will continue as long as there the Social Justice Warrior fools, or what ever they call these wimps next.

Then tell me how Fake Frankie Waters won most of the precincts near where he lives in a Republican primary against two Conservatives, and one of them me.

If I lived where his district would be, I could take him on and most probably win, but I don't live there, and if no one would run against him, which would most probably be the case (because most folks won't tolerate his corrupt ways, they knowing full well how he is), we keep Fake Frankie on the commission - a liberal Democrat cloaked in Republican clothing, doing damage every day he is is office against the Real People ... those unlike himself.

No, give me at large voting as much as is possible outside of "Limited Voting", so we at least have a chance to rid our selves of the Fakes, the Posers, the Parasites.

Steve: I get the history of it; however, the most important and Conservative effect that must occur right now is selecting commissioners who will govern as real Republicans. If that fine motive is not part of the equation, to effectively halt the stupidity and the corruption that is rampant here in this ham-handed Beaufort County government, then the local GOP has no right to exist.

The best way to honor that political Right is to first NOT work to rid Beaufort County of the two most experienced, most honest, most accurate, and far wisest commissioners. From what I have witnessed in the past with the local GOP, I am satisfied this infamous motive is deeply interwoven in this ham-handed initiative to rush to districts, ergo, I am convinced that there are folks currently in the local Republican party, pushing the district solution, drawn however they wish, whenever they wish, to accomplish politically whatever they wish. Furthermore, whether they realize this truth or not, they are supportive of this firm embrace of ignorance and corruption in our local government ... It is simply the history of this mess, which is a growing, stinking pile.

I wish I could have been proved wrong here in this true assessment born from deep knowledge, but it is far too late now to be proven otherwise wrong.

This is the governing workmanship that buys you an assurance that your property taxes will one day soon be rising quickly if changes are not made at the top as soon as is possible.

Well said CT, and thanks for the true words regarding the Beaufort County swamp.

I have been in politics and governing for about 30 years, and I have never seen it this corrupt, or the players so obviously stupid, and still getting away with it ... so far.

The real truth is a tough adversary to run from, and we are readying ourselves here to unleash a whole bunch of it as time permits.

The self professed "progressives" are in control of Beaufort County's Commissioners, and the governing of all of Beaufort County's tax payers.

In the reality of what is truly real, the true and only insurrection of 2020 /2021 was using Covid to scare stupid a good nation into allowing a terribly flawed election scheme, by Non Patriots, to corruptly award this Representative Republic's office of president to America's First Idiot President ... Just to express the truth of how one of too many fools, now occupying space in office, were additionally "elected" to squander OUR birth right.

This is huge because just the other night my politically analytical mind was wondering: If the Jussie Smollett Hate Crime Hoax, which is rather uncomplicated but a significant fraud, is one that most Americans can understand, how many morally corrupt Democratic Socialist idiots jumped on that Stupid Train, and who are the most significant of those corrupt Stupids? ... And here they are; a list of Democratic Socialists who will never be smart enough to effectively serve at any level, anywhere.

Thank-you "Daily Wire".

Steve, as I have mentioned before, I could favor two integral components of changing the way county commissioners are elected: 1) As much at large voting as is possible; 2) Concurrently, as many votes for county commissioners by the electorate as is possible.

You have my pledge of support if we can achieve both ideals, which are not mutually exclusive.

Thanks John for that bit of corrected history.

No entity knows how to steal an election like the Democratic Socialists, and their ballot harvesting technique is well renowned by knowledgeable observers.

The theft of the 2020 presidential election had many working pieces from so many corrupt corners, but it was the constant Covid inspired nearly 45,000,000 "Absentee" ballots that truly turned the key to unlock that opportunity for US to gain America's First Idiot President.

This nation, our People are in a terrible funk, and I don't know what to do other than to set a far better example, and, or laugh at their dumbasses, which I do on a regular basis. Beyond the handwringing of our ilk, we must still acknowledge that Stupid is often very funny.

That is one of the reasons why I brought Babylon Bee onto BCN ... the levity of satire.

On a more positive note, my cataract surgery yesterday appears to have worked well, and now, with a new corrective lens, and some decent reading glasses, I will be able to read my computer far better as I far more effectively express my written resolutions advocating real change. I am also hopeful that my former poor reading of such will no longer upset Commissioner Randy Walker's understanding of my in depth resolve for that advocacy on behalf of my constituents.

I can't speak for Hood Richardson as a Republican politician, or even as a true Conservative, which he undoubtedly is.

I can, however, speak for myself as a Republican who helped build this local GOP into a nucleus that actually stood for something real, if only for a brief while, and as a true Conservative, whose record as such is unimpeachable, and who has governed as a real Conservative for 22 years, not in my words, but by my many deeds; deeds of an indelible record.

In these true words, backed by those constant deeds, I will sum it up quickly what it means to be an accomplished Conservative, and a Reagan Republican; I would not begin to fathom a concept of growing the party to be "progressively" inclusive of all popular ideals as is the directive of the local GOP.

Fundamentally it is this: If the Republican party is to survive in these crucial times, it will need to become far more focused of standing for what is consistent, what is real, and what is irreversibly true, what is uncommonly smart, and what is unconditionally wise. When the Republican party does not embrace these ideals of the best and truest amongst us, and does not have the wisdom to know the difference of who is real, and who is a proven imposter; the "party" provides succor to those politicians that are dishonest interlopers at best; thus the Republican brand, that so many of us paid so dearly to build and sustain, will fail, and then all that will remain will be the finger pointing, and the unreasoned words of those still stuck on that sinking ship, a lost group of likeminded losers without the intellectual where-with-all or the moral backbone to Right its diminishing, downward course.

There we go; I was expecting this. Thank-you Authoritarian Cooper for letting us know "how much you truly care".

In reaction to this Leftist maxim for LGPTQ ...RSUV: Why not a proclamation for: 1) "US Constitution Month"; or 2) "End of Public Education Inadequacy Month", or 3) "End of Still Ignorant Though College Graduated Month", ... just for a start.

Steve: As you know, I have put much time in this electoral construct of electing Beaufort County Commissioners, and, along with yourself and The Hood in this very tiny group, know much more than anyone else in Beaufort County regarding this issue, so my opinion should carry some weight.

What passes as a local GOP has not talked to me, does not care for my well considered opinion, so, rightly put, I will advise everyone to NOT sign any petition until I, and The Hood have approved the best possible plan to elect county commissioners. Also, if anyone has flippantly signed said petition, they should wisely withdraw their name until they get the Green Light from myself and The Hood. If anyone truly cares what is best here in local politics, what is most wise should matter.

Districts will not work in Beaufort County for a variety of reasons (this I am very sure of); however, the at-large plan, with everyone running at one time, has merit (with "shotgun voting" an option), and could be considered.

There are other plans that might also have merit, but districts in Beaufort County would reward the corrupt, and we have a gracious plenty of that already without any further help.

Congratulations Tandy on winning the 3rd slot to win that third county commissioner seat. This may be the general election that rewards the honest, and despises the corrupt; so keep your Conservative Cloak snugged tight, and be willing to fight for the regular folks that are far too often forgotten.

Those good People are the vast majority of the best of what makes up Beaufort County, and deserve our constant constituency.

I have advocating much of this for decades.

That is why I worked for nearly two years pounding Nominal Republicans into submission to some basic wisdom to at least get Concealed Carry permitted in almost all of Beaufort County's government buildings. In these buildings (excepting the schools, the courthouse and the Sheriff's facilities), they are no longer "Free Fire Zones," where a deranged gunman can aim at sheep cloaked in a human skin.

CT you are right that "liberal county commissioners like Frankie Waters and Jerry Langley and Ed Booth" were constant obstacles to completing this arduous and wise governing task, but one also needs to add in one-term-Liberal Jerry Evans as also one of the People's greatest obstacles in doing what was smart and right to add to the defense of the undefended.

This is an astounding number, and this is the way Corporatists govern - take from the small to curry favor with the large.

The Covid Fraud - the shutting down of the small to the benefit of the large - showcased a big bite of realty for those that have the common sense to know better.

The provisional ballots were your big hurdle to overcome, and it is behind you.

Hood and I wish you were on the board right now as the Democratic Socialists and the Nominal Republicans - the majority - are beginning to close ranks yet again.

Thanks CT. This is the way I see it.

From a political point of view, since there is only one declared Democrat (Ed Booth) in the race, with Republican interloper Frankie Waters representing big inflationary government, I see there being a rush by those two to pick up the Leftist /Liberal vote from the Democrats and the Left-leaning Independents.

My advice to the Left-leaning electorate is: Every time you pay far more for products you must have to survive, and these prices keep rising without reason, just know that it is the heavy handed Authoritarians, who only know big government that put you and your family this untenable position. And still, if you must vote and support only politicians, like political allies Ed Booth and Frankie Waters, then be careful who you complain to when your world crumbles around you.

If you are a center-right Democrat or Independent, who has had enough of the endless lies and stupidity of feckless politicians, who love their office far too much, then you are welcome in the Stan Deatherage camp of Conservative ideals. I do not love my office in any way as much as I cherish my practicable desire for far smaller, and unmistakably honest government that has but one directive: To serve the public by honoring OUR constitutional responsibility to do so in a manner set forth by our Founders for that true representative government of ALL the People all the time.

True representative government cannot be accomplished by endeavoring to be all things to all people; it can only be mastered by being honest with all the people all the time. In my nearly 22 years of serving as a Beaufort County Commissioner, I know I can at least claim honesty as my small piece of what is truly real in our shared constituency.

Yes to the "Are not an ignorant and uninformed people, more docile and easy to control?"

In a Representative Republic we wind up with people that cannot make change at a cashier's counter, but surely know their Facebook, and are not too adept at fixing and building stuff.

Then ask yourselves this question: Who controls America's fledgling Education Industry?

Primarily, it is the Leftists; the same Authoritarian dolts that have brought us America's First Idiot President, and a Speaker who is abjectly bone crushingly stupid.

Great post Hood, all true as usual; however, if I could just interject this one additional truth: These Republican interlopers, who tend to coalesce around politicians of the inconsistent variety, also sought to marginalize me and my constituents ... possibly since I am far different than what they are use to supporting, or what they consider their nominal norm of what passes as a Republican.

I see this continual split, a chasm that divides us ever deeper, will never be closed, or the scar tissue dissolved until the principled Conservative wing of the Republican Party is insured that the Nominal Republican wing is removed from positions of total authority, which has far too long been the case here in Beaufort County.

It is that simple of a fix: Either one is serious about forming a team that can move as a cohesive Conservative unit of principled ideals, brimming with integrity, or they are just doing the usual lip-service-dance of fanciful fools, who will stand for nothing and will far too often fall for the lowest common denominator as the mean of their political momentum driving headlong toward a big bowl brimming full of immeasurable nothing.

It is absolutely refreshing and a public necessity to provide space on BCN for those among our local populace who endeavor to provide a fresh look at an old problem - the lack of individuality of original thought when it comes to raising and training our young to be productive.

Right we have failed, and continuing to fail so that we might grab the next new thing rather than grapple with, and learn well from what is familiar and good.

The next new thing in problems for these last few "highly educated" generations will be real productivity.

Where do we go to solve this monumental problem?

Thanks Bourne for your initiative in providing a pretext to an obvious failure of incredible proportions.
