Love their choice of snacks.
On a more serious note, I enjoy the Facebook posts I get from his daughter Anne Graham Lotz. His children will carry on his teachings of the good word.

Needless to say, Stan and I are very proud grandparents! We think baby Amelia Susan is a precious little blessing to our family.

Yes it is so true that people do find it easier to blame others for their own failures or when things just don't go as expected. Your story is a good reminder to us all to remember to stop and think before lashing out.

Wonderful words of advice from Dr. John that should be read and re-read as a reminder to us all.

I am certain that your patients are truly thankful for the help that you give them. I can't even begin to imagine what your work atmosphere could be like for you and any of the caregivers there. God bless you all.

Our reaction to life's tough moments and how we deal with them is an ongoing process and certainly none of us are immune to these struggles. When we do things to help someone else it can work to take our mind off our own problems.

I would wear flip flops all year if I could!

I love getting up early too, when everything is still and quiet, to ponder my thoughts and to reflect on things past and present. The slate is clean and then the day unfolds into life's moments, some hectic and some beautifully simple. I will make the most of each & to be most appreciative overall. Thank you for sharing John!

Reading these simple yet mindful steps, is like good food for the soul. I hope to be able to use these tools of wisdom to simplify my stressful moments. Thank you John.

I'm not sure anyone would want to follow that! You really have a way with words you know and I must say that I feel most humbled.

Thank you for your most dear sentiment. I can only say that I pray our children will be so lucky to find such close friendship, and that when times are not so blissful, that they will remember what brought them to fall for their significant other in the first place and to keep a sense of humor. Life is short and the grass usually isn't greener on the other side in most circumstances.

You are so sweet to still love little ole me. Thank you for this Mother's Day tribute. Can you believe that sweet Brandia is now 30 years old?

Such a nice article on Phillip and how it all came down. Thanks for watching with me.

Don't you find it interesting that of all 11 seasons, 9 of the winning contestants are from the South?

I have never bought any of the Idol winner's music, but look forward to obtaining Phillip's first album.

Brandia, this looks delicious. Quiche is wonderful because it can be served at breakfast, lunch, or dinner! A couple dashes of nutmeg also make for an interesting addition of flavor and goes especially well with swiss cheese.

Awesome job Dustin! I love all the sound editing, it really added a lot to the "creepy" effect.

It's like the saying goes, "if you go looking for trouble you WILL find it" and this guy didn't even have to go far from his own front door. Very funny.

Clint Eastwood is much too cool, and wise enough to know better than advertise any kind of personal political agenda. He is just one of the few older folk out there trying to be optimistic about his country. Maybe he could serve as a good role model for the younger generation. Perseverance and hard work never hurt anybody.

Oh Clint. All the men want to be him and all the ladies want to be with him.(Well maybe not everybody) He would have my vote.

This is so weird. I miss the old names already. I want to go to Washington Women's Care, NOT Vidant Women's Care! Why did our hospital sell out to a group that didn't even have the rights to it's name. And why is there no explanation for this change with urgent care?

I really liked this movie. It was so "real life" and reminds you that Cancer doesn't discriminate and that mothers and best friends will hold you up through hell and back. I sure did go through some kleenex.

Didn't care about those people then and certainly don't now! I just find it amusing to see that people can find the time to get themselves so worked up to the point that they can put everything on hold while they vent.

It is a wonder that someone can have such a vocal range. Jewel can switch it up like no other, from soprano to contralto to opera to yodel, high or low, you name it! I prefer her music in a lower range. Yes, this is a musician with great skill.

Visiting the town of Staunton was definitely an unexpected treat and a feast for the eyes if you enjoy the unique architecture of old buildings. I would love to go back any time we are near there. The drive along the road there was absolutely beautiful with the pastoral scenery of one dairy farm after another.

I believe that when young people see this film they will hopefully go away realizing that it's OK to question their own happiness and to be confused about making big decisions. The key to getting through these uncertain times is to just accept it as "normal" and to focus on all the positives. Life is never perfect, but it is good to count your blessings.

The problems are so compounding that it makes my head spin when I start thinking about it all. America has its own resources where oil is concerned. Too bad we aren't using more of those. The rising oil prices are certainly showing up at the supermkt. in the rising cost of groceries. I don't know how in the world all these jobless people are able to feed their families!
