When your middle of the road is somewhere between Mao Zedong and Ho Chi Minh, then everything else must seem like the extreme far right.

If a corrupt American justice system can harass a billionaire presidential candidate, what can they do to the average citizen? In fact, what are they actually doing to average citizens now? The American justice system being used as a political weapon is a monumental loss. Without some semblance of equal justice under law, we have no free society. We very well may be already past the point of no return.

It do appear that the top-down corruption era of the NCGOPe continues to thrive while disgusted and disrespected grassroots Republicans increasingly realize they have no real party. Generally speaking, the grassroots actually believe in a party platform and party principles. Yeah buddy, the NCGOPe has principles too. Like: corruption and thirst for power. Just think, if they can undermine a few more honest principled Republicans in office maybe they can avoid the next batch of NCGOPe leaders being hauled off in handcuffs again.

To this observer, it seems to me that the honest Republicans in North Carolina either need to leave in mass or stay and fight for better in mass. This in between scenario gives us this embarrassing and useless NCGOPe excuse for a party.

As an aside - Doesn't it seem like the far-left troll on this site has no idea what the discussion is about most of the time?

Commented on A Cruel Promise

Stan: You have presented the crux of it: These fools do presume to tell the real Republicans how to elect commissioners. In fact, they presume to impose upon us all their salvation from limited voting in the form of their alternative which will be just as bad and is likely to give THEM even more control of the process. With this kind of thinking the average citizen is likely to be just as powerless, but his local masters will likely be MORE powerful. Yes, a real recipe for disaster.

Commented on A Cruel Promise

There is nothing good coming from the petition being passed around by that clique that runs the Beaufort County Republican Party.

There is no organized party in Beaufort County looking out for John Q. Public in this voting system debate or anything else. They are all working for their own individual self-interests. That is just one of the reasons why I choose not to involve myself with the Beaufort County Republican Party. There are plenty of other reasons too: They hate conservatives. I'm conservative. They hate native southerners. I'm native southern. A small sample example. Screw them, too. That is that with local Repubs. The Democrats abandoned John Q. Public long ago.

I do not support any voting system that does not respect individual citizens. I imagine it would take the business end of a gun barrel to get these crooks to arrive at a point advantageous to the citizens in general. In the meantime, I'm not holding my breath waiting for something good from that crowd.

This doesn't say much for the N.C. delegation. If the vote were closer on getting the bill passed, I wouldn't expect Murphy to come through in that scenario. Anyway, that's my opinion.

The far-left do not care at all about context or truth. Like any propagandist their aim is to win by any means possible. They are betting and hoping that there are more ignoramuses and morons than clear thinking informed folks. Credible they are not.

Deborah: Forgive me. I misread your post. You are referring to the RNC chair seat. Still, I'll not be giving to the RNC with McDaniel/McKissick or Whatley/Lara T. or Nikki Haley heading it. I'll bet I can invest my hard-earned money much more wisely than that.

I'm wondering under what authority the party might "place" anyone in a seat (for president). Although, that is sort of what the Democrats do with their super delegates choosing their nominee for president.

At the rate we are going with these types of practices, this country could be very near a point of no return. Maybe we are already there.

It's encouraging to know the far-left scholars can spell C A T. I'm more concerned about their confusion about using prepositions instead of adverbs. I guess learning all those new pronouns has them utterly confused about parts of speech.

What the far-left is doing to language is bad. What the far-left is doing to the justice system is even worse.

What do people think all that money bought. The Raleigh power brokers blocked a proven area representative and bought a Raleigh Berger boy. The Swamp wins again.

Just days before the filing period began Perry was sending out mailers. On the first day of filing Speciale filed for the primary. Immediately Perry announced he would not run. On the last day of filing Brinson filed for the primary. From start to finish Brinson and the Burger related PACs funding him barraged us with thousands of dollars of flyers, radio and TV ads. See what happened.

Congratulations uninformed voters! You've been duped by the swamp and the rest of us go down with you dummies again.

Further, I do not live on Facebook. Despise it actually. Did make myself look at that vulgar RINO site this morning. Of course, the profile gives a nasty name not a real name. Interestingly enough, some of the commenters did give their real names. One I saw in several places was that Varcoe dude. He was constantly saying nasty things about a conservative Republican. He even said don't vote for him. Isn't Varcoe the acting chairman of the Beaufort County Republican Party? This is not acceptable behavior by a Republican Party officer. Especially in a Republican primary season. That other vice-chairwoman is the name that comes up most often from those conversations I referred to earlier in the context of publicly saying derogatory things about conservative Republicans. I guess there are no rules for RINOs.

Another observation. The folks on that disgusting site call Beaufort County conservatives a cult. From what I saw on that Facebook site, they are the ones behaving like a cult. How are crude, dishonest people like that allowed to lead a political party? Sign of the times I guess.

I do not believe candidates are sending out the stuff I saw online with their name on it that I know of. People HAVE come to me with stories of nasty things said about conservative candidates and conservative office holders for some time now. These hostile stories were from people that said they heard it from local officers of the Republican Party, and they said it in public places. My sources gave me the names of the particular officers.

I have lately been directed to online stuff that was over the top offensive and personal with strong racial connotations. A couple of people called me last night and asked me if it was from a candidate with roots in the county Repub. officer cadre, because they thought it was. I can't say for sure in instances like that. People don't put their names on stuff like that. It was vulgar, personal and I do strongly suspect the source, because it matches previous behavior that did come from the local Repub. Party. It is the same M.O. Certain things match.

If it is not from the local party now would be the time to disavow. My friends that know all the parties involved tell me they have no doubt. Exact words: "Duh, who else do you think it could be?" I tend to trust their judgement.

Locally, think about the Reg. of Deeds race and the Commissioner race. They will not be anyone endorsed on this sites' palm card. They will be candidates that serve on the BC Repub. Executive Committee.

Also, ask a committee member how they stand on wooing Democrats into a Republican Primary so as to defeat conservatives.

Yes. Nikki Haley is the great example at the national level of a Republican candidate relying on Democrat support in the Republican Primary season. Truth is there are several county level 'Republican' candidates doing the same thing. It is also a fact that those are the very candidates with ties to or support from the local party organization. Rather than guidance from the Republican Party, in Beaufort County the party seems to be the biggest offender. This party is only capable of producing chaos and meanness. Expect no productive leadership from that crowd.

Primary palm cards from conservative sources are more important than ever. Other traditional sources for information can no longer be trusted by conservatives. For example, the Beaufort County Republican Party is now engaged in a dishonest and hateful anti-conservative campaign. A big part of this campaign is to invite DEMOCRATS to vote in the Republican primary in hopes of defeating conservatives.

For roughly the last decade the Beaufort County Republican Party has been in a steep decline. Using the actual party platform as a guide, I think it is safe to say the local Repub. Party is actually doing way more harm than good.

It is hilarious how everybody talks conservative at election time. Some of these extremely well-funded candidates are telling some outright whoppers. Many of the palm cards from the local Repub Party and their satellites are fanciful tales of absurdity.
If you are looking for conservative candidates to vote for, do your own research and believe nothing but real facts and records. Lacking time for that, make sure the recommendations come from the BC Conservative Club. You won't find phony baloney conservatives in that group. Anything else might be the exact opposite of what you are looking for. There's a lot of shameless lying going on.

Brinson refusing to repudiate the smear that all people with political knowledge know to be a smear says a lot. So much for his claim of transparency. That's just words. So much for his claim of not being owned. He clearly is. Political ambition can make people do very disappointing things.
Speciale has a record. A very good record. It would be foolish to make a very suspect gamble on something else.

The leadership of both parties do not represent middle class citizens. On the Republican side think censored Thom Tilli$, think woke Catherine Truitt, think sell outs Berger and Moore, think corrupt State Republican Chairman Whatley, think hateful, self-serving BC Republican Party with their canceling conservatives antics.

This latest example (Tilli$ endorsing Truitt) of elitist insiders and their opportunistic friends circling the wagons is just one more situation where the GOP establishment is doubling down in their brazen opposition to grassroots citizens. These people are NOT our friends, and they DO NOT CARE what we think.

The primary election recommendations on this site are a public service for those of us that have been betrayed by these people working overtime to destroy us for their own rotten gains.

Each to their own. People have a right to their beliefs, but they should also own it, especially as public officials. It is hard to understand why supposedly conservative minded public servants would choose to flee to the increasingly more radical left and woke U.S. United Methodist Church rather than stay in their church in the same building with the congregation that voted to affiliate with the traditional Wesleyan Christians in the Global Methodist Church. Ducks say quack quack. Maybe woke is as woke does.

As an aside from ballot fraud USA - Are Libs really tuning in to the Super Bowl tomorrow to see if Taylor Swift gets a marriage proposal at halftime and to see if Taylor Swift endorses Biden again after the trophy presentation?

I don't plan on seeing the game, but I will tune in to the late news to see if they ever got that Super Bowl telephone hookup with Nero (Biden) fiddling amidst the flames while Rome (USA) burns.
