Interesting. When faced with having to defend his Red Communist Chinese voting system that has been imposed on Beaufort County, B Bob even has to abandon his knee jerk reaction race card.

No, Little Bobbie, crime is NOT down. At a convenient political time, the Biden FBI corrupted its numbers to make it look that way, largely by conveniently excluding some major crime-plagued jurisdictions that had failed to report. Later, when they finally corrected those numbers by including that info, crime was, in fact, UP substantially.

What happened to Bigot Bob's race card? He is defending the white Democrat guy's voting plan against the black guy's proposal. In this case, it was clearly the black guy's proposal that was far better for the citizens of Beaufort County but Bigot Bob does not like it.

Bob, the "someone who wanted to change the system to fit their needs" who gave us "limited voting" was a Democrat County Commission chairman named Frank Bonner. Beaufort County was facing a Voting Rights Act lawsuit from David Moore over the way ocmmissioners were elected. They had the ammuniction evidence-wise to win the suit over Moore but hired a Chapel Hill liberal attorney who preferred to negotiate the surrender instead of win the case. Moore presented a district plan, which i had the opportunity to see at a later period, and it was a solid plan. Frank Bonner, however about had kittens over the plan because it put his own home in a black district. He instructed that liberal Chapel Hill attorney to come up with an alternative plan that would not end his personal political career. That plan was limited voting. Frank Bonner's personal "needs" were to save his own political career and limited voting was imposed on Beaufort County to do that. I wish Moore had stuck to his guns on his district plan because it was a good one.
When the public found out about the limited voting that was coming their way, there was a huge public uproar, so much so that the all-Democrat commissioners tried to back out of it, but the court ruled they had gone too far in settlement of the case to do so. Our appellate courts have ruled that limited voting is such a strange system that courts cannot impose it as a remedy unless all the parties agree to accept it. In our case, the court ruled that if they accepted it at one point, even if they changed their mind, that was enough. That aspect should have been taken to an appellate court, but it wasn't.

You know all these people just being talked about have nothing else to do is because they are lonely and miserable in their life so they figure they can stir up some lies and drama well hope it works for y'all hope you get what you want if this is the only way you know to cause problems for people it doesn't talk to you I guess that's the way to do it but you know one day you'll have to answer to God so you should think about what you were doing instead of because he does know everything and sees everything you do so quit blaming people for your problems and get off of your butt and find something to do better than run your mouth about other people

It makes sense that deportation would be the top desire of American voters after Biden and Harris betrayed our immigration laws for four years. Three of the top four nationalities people want to see deported make sense. There has been a lot of crime associated with the Venezuelans and El Salvadorans, and each has a notorious and vicious crime gang plaguing America, the Tren de Aragua and MS13. The huge number of military aged males from China entering the country is viewed through a national security lens. That Mexicans top the list is suprising in that there is less crime associated with Mexicans than with others like Venezuelans, El Salvadoritans, Haitians, etc. It may be just that there are perceived to be more of them here than other groups.

Regarding whoever is working for who concerning the School Board, it appears nothing has changed since the last election. Cheeseman and his assistant are still dead center with their sock puppet chairman, while a few of their favorites are in fairly close proximity, and members not on the favorite list are mingled with the staff or placed on the planet Pluto. No sign of the board lawyer, but I hear he is a superintendent call away in Durham if he is not preoccupied with his Democratic Party activism. This is well beyond embarrassing. Being a Beaufort County resident, it hurts to see what has become of my county. I don't recall seeing anything like this.

Preparation is the key in any natural disaster. You want to talk about hurricanes, so lets talk about hurricane Helene. The Republican governors of Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina all pre-staged personnel, equipment, and supplies to deal with the storm. The Democrat governor of North Carolina failed to do that. Consequently, the states of Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina had better hurricane response than we did.
Roy Cooper should have known better. North Carolina had a hurricane set up just like Helene back in 1916 and was just as big of a disaster. Yet he failed to take the steps other govenors did. Those other governors showed how to govern. Too bad for our own citizens that our governor was not paying attention. If you don't care about your fellow liberal Bill, maybe you would think about California Democrat congressman Ro Khanna who also says California needs new leadership and Karen Bass needs to go.

"Right side of history"??? Curious how the modern American far left rehashs the old Soviet slogan "History is on our side". History, however is factual. It has no side.
And as to West Virginia, citizens in that area had a free choice in 1861 when the citizens of the state voted on seceeding from the United States. At that time, everyone could vote and no one was off in the army or refugees from northern occupation. At that time, most of the counties later organized into West Virginia voted FOR secession from the Union. ANd with your Marxist bent, I wonder why you do not follow Karl Marx's assessment of the War Between the States: "the war is not about slavery; it is a war of economic subjugation by the north against the south."

These “movements” have always been around. The internet just amplifies it. However it does remind me of WV. Those counties broke away from Virginia to avoid sedition and slavery to fight with the North.
Clearly they were on the right side of history

What a nightmare for people of sane rural Illinois and sane rural Oregon counties to be dominated by the insanity coming out of Chicago and Portland. We here in eastern Carolina are also feeling that more and more in a state dominated by Raleigh/Durham, Charlotte and Greensboro. If need be, where could we even try to go?

The Separation Movement of Counties is growing now that it is well understood that Democratic Socialists cannot or will NOT govern with a modicum of intelligence at the local level.
I have spoken to many county commissioners from states, where their counties are subservient to the dictates of Democratic Socialists Dingbats, and who are NOT qualified to govern or lead, are mostly ready to secede to other far better governed Red States. Is it any wonder that these counties wish to join the state next door, like the states of Washington's and Oregon's eastern counties now begging to secede to Idaho for example?

The problem here is much much deeper than racist DEI, Bigot Bob. Even the DEI hire fire chief functioned on a higher level than the woke mayor and governor. You might want to read what liberal pundit Bill Maher who lives in LA had to say about all three.
