Does The responsibility to get the dispensing of information right supersede to profit and ideological motives of the Mainstream Media?

    In short, it is beyond essential; it is the core of the trust component that comprises the fabric of a free people. The Free Press, guaranteed by our 1st Amendment to the United States Constitution, is the glue that keeps a knowledgeable people informed and capable of knowing what is real and what is right, and, therefore, fully capable of responsibly picking our leaders; steeped in wisdom.

    If the media of the Free Press abdicates its responsibility to do what is fair and right by knowingly and continually misrepresenting real facts for the sake of distorting the truth for the sake of the profit of propaganda, then that segment of the media know longer deserves the privilege to report, or the respect of the People. The Free Press privilege is a delicate compact: The People deserve the truth and the media deserves their trust, however, when the propagandists destroy that trust, the Free Press compact is irrevocably broken.

    When the elements of the dishonest media masquerade as real and honest, they are propagandists whores for hire, have willfully broken the trust of the people and deserve the full wrath of all whom are legitimate. When President Donald J. Trump brands these wanton propagandists as "the enemy of the people", and gets away with it, one needs to know that America's journalism has sunk to an all time low.

    Certain media outlets, most notably CNN and NBC, do condone the nefarious, and have accepted the infamous mantel of broadcasting the Fake News implicitly to the most incurious among us - many suffering from TDS (Trump Derangement Syndrome). Propaganda is their stock and trade, nothing more, and because these purveyors of the Fake News do not have any ethical commitment to getting the news right, they mostly get it really wrong, and promote no precept to do otherwise; just recently the near conclusion of the Donald Trump Collusion Hysteria, the Covington Kids /Nick Sandman Rush to Judgement, the Jussie Smollett Hate Crime Hoax, the promotion of the fake narrative of"manufactured border crisis by the President"; all culminating within the first months of 2019.

    Chronically dispensing bad information to the incurious for ideological fun and profit is not only ethically wrong, it is morally reprehensible, and when President Trump makes the bold statement that you are "the enemy of the people" and it sticks like a brand, there is the essence of truth in the air.

    On March 29th, I made a rather bold Facebook Rant, which may symbolize my breaking point in accepting any so-called journalists from Fake News components CNN and NBC. I intend to hold these possible few competent journalists to this maxim:

    If there are any credible journalists at NBC and CNN, they would be wise to resign immediately and denounce their former colleagues as systemic propagandists, who operate outside of any norm of decency, or by any ethical standards whatsoever.

    These possibly well wounded, but formerly credible "journalists" must leave NBC and CNN within one week of today, or, they should just remain in place, and continue to be content to be considered by intelligent folks as overpaid propagandist whores and nothing more.

    For my part, I will consider all propagandist whores, who remain at these Fake News outlets beyond the next 7 days, as nothing more than pathetic propagandists with no redeemable qualities.

    And who am I to make these demands?

    Just a very concerned American patriot and publisher of Beaufort County NOW, with no Journalism training, but does endeavor to get it right, and would never knowingly dispense information that is not accurate ... and, just because I espouse those ideals and practice such, I sit in the perfect position to judge my inferiors at NBC and CNN.

    My modest position here, in its totality, well expresses just the truth of how low Journalism has sunk. Keeping an incurious individual lowly informed so they will vote Democratic Socialist may be good propaganda, but, it is surly not Journalism. In real terms, there must be an apocalyptic change in the news industry, or our Republic may not survive, and that may be the Fake News end game. Sadly, my previous statement does not now rise to the any premise of hyperbole.
