Trump promises to put parents in charge of public education | Eastern North Carolina Now

Donald Trump kicked off his 2024 Presidential Campaign last week with speeches in New Hampshire and South Carolina.  He revealed the top issues he will be running on and public education was at the top.  The Daily Caller reported:

The loudest applause lines during Trump’s speech in NH so far were for fighting culture war issues, esp. his plan to “eliminate federal funding for any school that pushes Critical Race Theory or left-wing gender ideology” and “direct election of school principals by the parents”

“As the saying goes, personnel is policy, and at the end of the day, if we have pink-haired communists teaching our kids, we have a major problem. When I’m president we will put parents back in charge,” Trump said in the policy video.

Truth? Fact- Trump calling out DeSatan in a pretty horrible way, that is true. Is Trump telling the truth? Hardly ever does so probably isn't. My guess, he is just making it up, but many Trumpers are bound to believe it. Poor Ron.

Are you talking about the 21 year old photo that Trump shared? That is not present but past.
Regardless if you are male or female, did you ever party with teenage girls? Even as a teenager or young adult?

BB you say both party with teenage girls in the present tense. Where is your proof they are partying with teenage girls in the here and now.
Remember Biden is the one sniffing and touching children and women right in front of the cameras. If any one of us were to do that we would be charged for sexually assaulting children and women.

Maybe our local School Officials will catch on that keeping the public informed and getting them on their side is to their advantage. What we have had in the past is (We know best and dumb parents do not know what is good for their kids) With students now 4 to 9 years behind (according to our superintendent) we are going to need parents to help with encouragement and homework. We need management more than equity. CRT should never have entered the school room in the first place. It took parents and the public confronting our school board to finally get a watered-down version resisting CRT. If the Public School group will look at something besides CNN and our NC DPI they will see that they are on the wrong side of history.

Trump is making public education, and its curriculum a major issue for the 2024 primaries. He realizes that Ron deSantis is gaining ground by doing the same. The top contenders for president and governor in the 2024 primaries will be beating the drum for a public school curriculum that parents want, not what the education establishment and education inudstry want. The local school board members who are up in 2024 can either join the parade or get trampled by it. Their choice on the radical left SAVVAS social studied curriculum with be decicive for their 2024 primary hopes.
