    Good morning,

A strong cold front will impact eastern NC today into Monday morning. There remains the potential for several impacts from this system including localized flooding, gusty winds, a few strong to severe thunderstorms, dangerous marine conditions, and limited coastal impacts.

The biggest changes since the last update has been the introduction of storm warnings across our coastal waters from Oregon Inlet South to Cape Lookout, wind advisories across western Carteret, Dare, and Hyde Counties, as well as an increasing severe weather risk as the strongest storms could bring locally enhanced wind gusts and an isolated tornado threat.

The strongest winds and coastal flood threat will peak during the late overnight hours to early Monday morning.

Please see the attached briefing for the latest information.

If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out.
