Fulton County Commission launches probe of anti-Trump DA Fani Willis | Eastern NC Now
county commission's audit chairman demands answers from Willis
The worm may be turning on Fulton County, Georgia District Attorney Fani Willis whose office is engaged in a political prosecution of former President Donald Trump. After lengthy court filings showing improprieties surroundging Willis' hiring of her boyfriend as chief special prosecutor against Trump and co-defendants, for which he has already been paid almost $700,000, the chairman of the Audit Committee of the Fulton County Commission has launched a formal investigation of Willis and her office. Commissioner Bob Ellis, who chairs that audit committee has demanded answers from Willis on her financial and related activities.
In a proceeding that more and more resembles a Stalin Show Trial, Willis' boyfriend has had meetings at the White House regarding this prosecution of Biden's chief political opponent, and Willis herself has met with Vice President Kamala Harris on that subject.
