Citizen backlash against Scotland's "hate speech" law tanks popularity of its leader | Eastern NC Now

Popularity of government leader crashes, even among his own party members.

Public furor at Scotland's new "hate speech" law that goose steps all over free speech has caused a dramatic crash in the popularity of its leader according to a new poll for the London Times.  Scotland's First Minister and head of government Humza Yousef, an ethnic Palestinian who now leads the Scottish National Party government now has a favorability rating among all Scots of negative thirty two points, a dramatic fall since the poll taken prior to implementation of the "hate speech" law.  Even among voters of his own party, Yousef has a popularity rating of negative seven points, with 29% of SNP voters approving of him and 36% disapproving, and the rest undecided.

Prior to the "hate speech" law, Yousef had an approval rating of positive fifteen points.

Ironically, many Scots have filed police complaints under the "hate speech" law against Yousef himself for a speech he made in parliament saying white people had too much power in Scotland, a country that is 96% white.

It is clear that average citizens hate tyrants who try to take away their free speech.
