Trump to end subsidies for "horrible" offshore wind turbines on day one | Eastern NC Now

ending this boondoggle will help stop electric rate increases and save the whales

ENCNow

President Trump is poised to strike a blow for holding down electric rates on his first day in office by ending government subsidies for offshore wind turbines.  Offshore wind turbines are the most expensive way to make electricity and even with massive government subsidies, they still significantly raise electric rates to the consumer.  Without the subsidies, the construction of these unsightly monstrosities which Trump described as "horrible" with dry up.

This cancelation of offshore wind turbines will also be a boon to the environment as the turbines are prolific killers of wildlife ranging from sea birds to marine mammals such as whales.  An abundance of dead whales started washing up on Atlantic beaches after the Biden regime opened the door to offshore wind turbine construction.  The turbines also threaten to destroy the commercial fishing industry.

The public generally is fed up with the radical enviromentalists as shown by the huge losses of Green Parties across Europe and the rise of consumer and farmer movements opposing the "green" agenda, like the German anti-green movement led by Princess Gloria von Thurn und Taxis and the massive farmer protests across many countries in Europe against radical environmentalism.

The political appeal of opposition to wind and solar electricity was shown in the most recent provincial election in Canada's largest province Ontario.  When Doug Ford took over the helm of a faltering provincial Conservative Party on the eve of the election, he chose opposing the unpopular green energy boondoggle as his main focus, and the voters responded, turning a 2 to 1 Liberal over Conservative majority into a 10 to 1 Conservative over Liberal majority, the biggest landslide in Canadian history.   Ford's first move as provincial premier was to cancel all wind and solar permits that were in the pipeline, and he followed that by repealing the Green Energy Act.  Ford went on to cancel wind and solar projects already under construction, pointing out that the financial penalties for that were less than what the taxpayers would have to pay in subsidies if they were completed.   His government also indicted criminally four wind energy companies for multiple felonies for polluting the groundwater.

It would be great if Trump can slam bang the wind and solar grifters as soundly as Doug Ford has in Ontario.

Wind and solar are not only weather dependant as to whether they even produce any electricity, but they are also very vulnerable to destruction by bad weather. The recent hurricanes destroyed thousands of solar panels and damaged dozens of wind turbines. A hail storm destroyed one of the largest solar farms in the country earlier this year.

This is not a reliable way to make electricity.
