Congress committee finds major Democrat fundraiser ActBlue took illegal foreign money | Eastern NC Now

ActBlue staff plead the Fifth Amendment over 100 times

ENCNow

A Congressional committee report finds that the Democrats' major fundraising platform, ActBlue was engaged in laundering illegal foreign contributions into Democrat political campaigns.  US campaign finance law prohibits foreign citizens from contributing to US political campaigns.   One of the ways ActBlue facilitated this campaign finance fraud was by accepting pre-loaded debit cards purchased in foreign countries and processed those contributions through to Democrat candidates.

During the course of the Congressional hearings, staff members of ActBlue pled the Fifth Amendment to refuse to testify on the grounds it may incriminate them 146 times to Congressional questions.  It is expected that there will be DOJ prosecutions and perhaps a RICO action to shut ActBlue down.

ActBlue has also been known for a practice known as "smurfing" which is also illegal.  In that operation, a contribution comes in from a large donor who has already reached their lilmit, and is reported under other names, usually a large list as small contributions.  The people whose names are used as the named contributors on the political reports usually have no idea their name is being used this way

These fraudsters need to be UNDER the jail house.
