60 years ago? That is about the time that certain political actors in the UK deciding that reviving the discredited and almost forgotten CO2 global warming theory could help them in their stuggles with the coal miners unions and Arab oil sheiks, and dumped tons of British taxpayer money into grants to create new "science" on the subject. That theory dated from the 1890s and had never gotten any real acceptance in climate science. However, it was politically useful at that time to the British government. Later the UN discovered that it could be politically useful to them as well.

The CO2 climate doom hysteria has been junk science since that Swedish dude first concocted it in the 1890s.

Its like the facts I pointed out on the "climate refugee" nonsense. You can't be confused with facts because your mind is made up.

Longtime funder of the climate doom cause Bill Gates publicly climbed down from the position earlier this year, saying the climate doom narrative was just wrong. The UN's IPCC in their latest projections has withdrawn the two highest ones on temperatures completely and said the third highest was just there for academic purposes and was not going to really happen. The remaining ones are not in the climate doom level. Even that nutty Greta Thunberg has turned her back on climate doom and now spends her time being a cheerleader for the Hamas terrorists instead. You are behind the times, Little Bobbie. Many of the people who promoted climate doom have been jumping ship.

Actually there was an article from the English edition of the German news magazine "Der Spiegel" that made fun of a UN report that projected 50 million "climate refugees" by a certain year. which had just passed. The article pointed out that instead of 50 million , there had been NONE, and that population had increased rather than decreased in all the places the UN claimed the "climate refugees" would come from.

Also, the UN IPCC for years made two Pacific island nations (Kiribati and Tuvalu) "poster children" for being swallowed up by "sea level rise" due to "climate change". When scientists finally got around to studying what was actually happening there, they found that the islands in question were GROWING in size, not shrinking. Facts are funny things. They explode mere theories.

Remember, not one of you could go a week without your A/C 5 months out of the year. Most of the world doesnt have A/C. And these people will move.

There are two many liberal elements of church denominations in the illegal immigration game, often soaking up taxpayer money to fund it. The United Methodists have been a big player in that, although not the biggest. That would probably be Catholic Charities. Hopefully, the Trump administration will get all this money cut off. Indeed, it would be nice to see some of these leftie hacks prosecuted for conspiracy to violate our immigration laws and for harboring illegal aliens.
