Comedy has always been in the eye of the beholder, and every generation has their favorites. But it was not always a big money maker for the comedians. Many labored away in small clubs and the Catskills telling their stories and jokes to largely small crowds.

I have found that it is always good to end the week or start the weekend with a touch of humor. Since I retired, I have not had to worry much about how to start the week. I seem to remember it starts with an Alarm, but I could be wrong about that.

The J. Geils band was formed in 1967. They hung around until 1985 when they broke up like all good rock bands are want to do. The result was a series of lawsuits and bad feelings. Like any bad marriage the breakup was based on a shaky ground of "Creative Differences."
