During the operation, Deputies detected an odor of marijuana coming from a vehicle that came through the checkpoint. Deputies searched the passenger car and located two small baggies of marijuana, a larger bag containing marijuana, digital scales, and a box of plastic sandwich bags.

Deputy Martin conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle as it turned onto Carolina Avenue. Martin made contact with the driver and noticed an odor of marijuana coming from the vehicle.
