In Germany, an 87 year old woman was recently sentenced to an active 8 month prison term for social media posts against illegal immigration, and in France, the Catholic group Civitas was just banned for its opposition to illegal immigration and Muslim takeover.

What the county commissioners ought to be doing is providing the Register of Deeds with the space needed to keep providing the actual physical deed books. Anyone who has been in that office in the last few years would comprehend that they have outgrown the space they have. Frank Johnston's old law office now belongs to the county, is close to the courthouse, and would probably provide enough space. The upper floors of the sheriffs building could also be renovated. Yes, we need to keep physical deed records but more space is needed to accomplish that. Computer hacking is always a potential threat to a system based on computerized records. The primary records should always be physical.

Our county commission is falling down on the job if they do not work to provide this space. They spend a lot of money on frivolous and unnecessary things like those idiotic "smart" meters which were a very costly and very dumb idea. Lets spend it instead on maintaining proper records for our citizens.

With Cheeseman and this transgender mess, it seems to be all talk and no DO. It just keeps happening in our schools. Not so many months ago, we had this happen with a teacher at Washington High School having a gender transition lesson in class. Now, it has reared its ugly head at the Early College High School. There was also a male student on the south side of the river that the school staff allowed to change into womena clothes at school for the school day and change back before going home to hide it from his parents. When are our schools going to take strong and definitive action to put a stop to teachers involvement in pushing gender dysphoria?

One thing that is really appalling is that the feds have been caught several times cutting the razor wire that Texas has placed on the river shore to prevent illegal aliens entering. Texas should arrest and jail those feds. I would also equip the Guard with fixed bayonets to use to herd the illegal invadiers back to the other side. Water cannon and cattle prods might also be useful.

Girls are endangered when nutcase males are allowed in the bathrooms. Rapes by "transgender" biological males of girl students in school restruooms have already happened. The girls need to be protected from these fruitloops. If they have had the curgery, the danger is over and that is one thing, but if they have not, they do not belong in those girls restrooms.

Mayor Sadler is a tax and spend politician, but it is worse. His spending priorities are driven by cronyism. What has allowed the worst cronyism cesspool in Washington in the last at least fifty years is that he has had too many knee jerk rubber stamps on the City Council.

The best way to end this cronyism is to change mayors, but for an insurance policy, we also need to elect a council majority that can think for themselves and not be led around by the nose. Donald Sadler throughout his term as mayor has held Friday session with council members in groups of one or two to give them marching orders for the upcoming council meeting and script them for it. We need council members who will not fall into such a rut, no matter what mayor may try to do it. Ask council candidates it they will attend such meetings. If they will, we do not need to vote for them.

Sadler has had two absolute yes men on the council, Richard Brooks and Mike Renn. Between Brooks barely being able to read or write and Renn's substance abuse, both were easy to control. William Pitt proved too much of an independent thinker who was willing to go against the mayor's agenda when the public good demanded it, so he fell out of favor with Boss Hogg Sadler. Sadler often made up for that by corralling Lou Hodges vote. Hodges won due to public sympathy for the Covid death of her husband, but she has been a weak and vacillating member of the council, and that sympahty factor may be wearing off. Hodges told people she would vote against last year's massive ten percent tax increase, but after the mayor worked on her, she fell in line with his wishes.

Bobby Roberson has been the consistent voice for the taxpayer on the council, but he is leaving to run for mayor. We now need three taxpayer-oriented council members to form a majority.

That Sadler fundraiser next weekend should be a litmus test. Any council candidate attending should NOT get the votes of taxpayers. Word is that he has not even invited William Pitt this year. Who else has been invited and will attend? Inquiring minds want to know.

The climate whack-jobs are really targeting dairy farming all over the world, not just New Zealand. The Green Party in the Netherlands is advocating eliminating 70% of the country's dairy cows. The woke Irish government is proposing to kill off hundreds of thousands of their dairy cows. What to these climate nutters think that will do to the price and availility of dairy products like milk, butter, cheese, ice cream, etc.? Just wait until they start doing this here.

I'd rather keep the cows instead of the climate whack jobs. They think people ought to be eating bugs and worms. NO, HELL NO!
