We have two- and one-half conservative school board members with the courage to speak up. But we need more.
Change the method, change the results. We need management that can set priorities and much-needed goals. Paying for billboards and ads in the local paper is like announcing everyone has a nose. Duh. Every effort and money should be put into improving basic education and discipline. The question Cheeseman should be answering is why homeschooling is outgrowing public schools nationwide. The simple answer is management.

I hope that more people will take Prendiegirl's advice and attend the school board meetings. You can watch the Chairman hang on to the arm of the Superintendent for what to say next. He still has not learned that the Superintendent works for the school board and the people and not the other way around. Oh, parents, they don't know how to raise children. The school will take care of that. Just drop them off and let them babysit until they can get home and the TV and cell phones take over the job.

Is this like January 6?
Will they lock some of these people up for 7 years?
If you don't like the rules, make up your own.

Washington and Beaufort County now stand at the brink of the best opportunity to progress and grow that it has had in a long while if poor leadership does not kill it. The development of the Airport is bigger than many realize. We now have 25 boatbuilders in a 35-mile radius of Washington. The opportunity for residential growth is huge if promoted and handled well. This is a time for leadership that understands city planning and future vision. Leading in this climate means having a basic understanding of business and management. We do not have that now and we can help this by electing Bobby Roberson as our mayor.

How are rules and regulations set for the Register of Deeds office in North Carolina? Are there State Statutes that regulate the preservation of documents? With constant hacking and now AI coming on, how could anyone expect to completely trust that electronic documents could not be changed? It is good that public records may be retrieved without going to the Court House, but they should be backed up by hard copies that bear signatures.

If you are a Christian, conservative with an interest in teaching our children correct principles and a good basic education, please sign up to run for the Beaufort County School Board. For help and support contact Adam Oneal 252-943-5939 for details on how to register to run.

Bob should review the last section of the quote from Martin Neimoller

Then they came for the Jews
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a Jew
Then they came for me
And there was no one left
To speak out for me –

Now that Big Bob is into numbers. Let's look at a few near and dear to us.

East Carolina University 71% White

NC State University is 63.2% White

University of NC is 57.1% White

Hills Dale College is 66.7% White.

Sorry, Bob. You are drinking the cool aid again. Hillsdale has fewer whites than your next-door neighbors in Greenville.

Are we to understand that the Board refuses to even consider having a representative from Hilldale College present their social studies program to replace what was previously selected as Savvas with the Rainbow flag? I was told the Savvas program costs about 400 thousand dollars and the Hillsdale program is free. Until we elected the last three new board members the group was merrily going along with teaching CRT. They finally adopted a watered-down version of resistance. Correct me if I am wrong.

BUSINESS AS USUAL! Why do you think we can't get rid of COM? What about Tort Reform? Eliminate these two problems and NC would not be rated among the Worst Medical States. We would also have General practitioners. If you do not think we need them, just try and find a new one. Big money comes from the medical community and the insurance industry. Gambling is a big business if you are on the receiving end. It is easy to find big money to back it. Oh, I forgot. We have the best politician's money can buy.

How will AI affect voting machines? We had major problems in the last election without AI. How can we know this next one will not be rigged more? We need a voting holiday and paper ballots.

With Today's technology and advertising techniques, companies can make anything look great. As AI comes to fruition, propaganda will have a hay day. Remember: What is the difference between ignorance and apathy? I don't know and I don't care. That is what will make the future difficult for the informed.

Bob,
Try dropping your political and opinion biases and look at this whole mess through a logical and unbiased lens. We can learn from real History, and we can make decisions on real facts. The system is not working, and the left has not presented a good alternative. We all need to look at candidates and positions as if the label was off the can and judge what is in it. Change the method and change the result.

Commented on Optimism

In each case, it goes back to Management. Who is in Charge? Change the Method, change the results. This only happens when we the people follow what is going on and get involved. Your school system is a failure because of Management. Yes, there have been difficulties. That is when you find out if you have the right management or if you need to find more capable people. From the above information, it appears that we need to change management.

Braddy Law may be Buddy Law. I had a case years ago where I needed my lawyer to bring charges against another law firm. He explained that he did not want to bring charges against them because he had always been friends with that law firm. I had to go out of town to find a lawyer to take my case. I liked my out-of-town lawyers reply when I told him my predicament. He said, “I don’t know the ________ boys. “I really would not have any problem suing them for you”. He was not in this Buddy Bunch. Lady Justice seems to have one eye not blindfolded these days.

Not only are Democrats dangerous, but Rino's are worse.
Next are the uninformed. We all have to "Lift where we stand". Saving America will start with the local and state politicians.

This is a case of the reverse “Snake Fable”. We did not know he was a snake when we picked him up. So many good patriotic people worked for this man when he ran against Obama. And then he folded during the debates. Since then, we have witnessed his get even approach to anything related to Trump or his policies and a complete neglect of the principles that he grew up with. It is time for all of us to do a better job of vetting our candidates and sending money directly to those that we support.

Have you looked at the Hillsdale Curriculum? It is available on their website. Strange how facts matter. But that may not be in your agenda.

Better representation will only happen when we have better Men willing to run. We need patriot candidates and not weak weasels to choose from. They are out there. We just need to find them and send your money directly to them and not the party.

About 37% of registered voters in Beaufort County are declared unaffiliated. These are some of the best-informed people that have realized the corruption in both parties. While this is a Gallant decision, it does make it difficult to run for office. I would encourage you to register as a party member in order to get your name on the ballot. We need well-informed patriots to help us take back our County on our School board, City Council and County Commission.

The bill, SB 579, passed the Senate Rules Committee by voice vote. The bill makes it a Class H felony to disseminate obscenity in the presence of an individual under the age of 18. Under current law, it’s a Class I felony. Will this apply to some of the material that is available in some schools? IE Gender Queer, ETC. Will a teacher inviting a cross-dresser or other Alphabet members to come in and perform lude behavior be held to this law? Will there be oversight on material already in public school libraries to see if it defies this law? Oh, I forgot. We can't have Huckleberry Fin in the library but to take out some of the porno being taught in some classes would be book burning. I'm afraid we have already let the camel get his nose under the tent.

If you would like to see a "Chicago Tap Dance" check out the next video of last night's School Board meeting on Cheesman explaining how to teach a child. That was the longest diatribe of nothingness I have witnessed. Typical Cheeseman, "I know everything". Sometimes things cannot be repaired. You just have to start over. Thank goodness we have a nucleus of three board members to build from. Get off the Socialist Woke bandwagon and get back to the three R's. Then we might begin to build a workforce in Beaufort County.

To Concerned Taxpayer:
You are right! The Hillsdale curriculum is filled with fact and patriotism and not woke and liberal agendas. We see our Country falling apart because of this infectious disease. Why would we want this to be perpetrated in our local school system? As we have seen in other school boards, they do not have to roll over and whimper at every whim of the BOE, BOI and the Teachers Union. But the old six members are not fighting for our best interest. Instead of straining over not adopting a sound traditional program that will prepare our students for the real world, why are they not meeting on why 8 of our 13 schools now have failing grades and 35% of our students in Beaufort County are at grade level for reading and math. It all reverts to leadership and management.

Bob. That was the case with the Danbury Baptist but not all churches. Christians just want to be left along to worship who and how they please and not have to hide their convictions because it might affend a few people. Churches most of all want government to stay out of their business.

The Founding Fathers wanted to be sure that there would be no religion sponsored by any state and that the legislature should “make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof” The phrase in Thomas Jefferson's letter to the Danbury Baptist expressing a wall of separation between Church & State was to clarify that no State or Government could declare any one religion and he wanted to be sure that all men would be assured their natural right to worship as they please.
This letter was not part of the Constitution. However, the left and uninformed have tried to use that phrase to “build a wall of separation between church and state to prohibit prayer and other forms of teaching religion. I have heard most of the implied talking points but go ahead and give it your best shot. This country and its Constitution were founded on freedom and most of all freedom of religion.

Bob, One of the first orders of business is to defend Christian Values that allow you to go to church or not go to church without government interference or your interference. Under God's law and the Constitution, you are free to choose.

Politics has become a dishonorable business. It is now a blood sport with few rules that are enforced. As a result, Good competent people with integrity hesitate to get involved. However, we have reached a point in our community, county, and state where we must make a stand. Only six months now there will be the start of filings for the upcoming election. One of the most important things that we as citizens of Beaufort County can do is look for and solicit competent people to run for office. We are in a real local war to save our children and our way of life. “The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good men to do nothing,”
