If criminals followed our laws, we would not need more laws. It does absolutely no good to create more laws just to have more charges. The only thing that will slow the killings is SWIFT AND HARSH punishment. Not a forty year wait in prison, with enough time to contemplate finishing what you started. When there are multiple witnesses such as the church shooting in South Carolina, death should have found its mark within 72 hours of catching him.

Commented On My yearly Medical exam – A new Medicare benefit
Went to get my yearly inspection the other day. Nurse checked my weight, height, checked my BP, eye sight, took a blood sample, and had me check my aim by peeing in a tiny little cup, then went to wait for the doctor. Doc comes in, listens to my thumpin gizzard, taps on my back while I am inhaling and exhaling, assaulted my arthritic knees with a rubber mallet and then asked if I was still on my diet.
ME: YEP. WHY? DOC: YOURE NOT LOSING ANY MORE WEIGHT. WHAT DID YOU HAVE FOR BREAKFAST? ME: 5 EGGS. DOCTOR: UH...DONT YOU THINK THAT WAS A BIT MUCH? ME: NO. YOU SAID EGGS WERE GOOD FOR MY DIET. DOCTOR: WELL, THATS A LOT. WERE THEY FRIED, SCRAMBLED, POACHED, OR BOILED? ME: CADBURYS. |

“These individuals, according to Garris, were no longer members of the committee as she had unilaterally removed them from the committee late Tuesday evening, the 6th. Garris stated that Executive Committee 2nd Vice Chair Janet Knight, former Washington City Council candidate Sheri Clark and Commissioner Hood Richardson had been removed from the committee for reasons of party disloyalty”.
This sounds very much like another democratic scheme to remove opposition from a decision. Garris MUST be investigated as to why she thinks party loyalty has been committed. Democrats and RINO‘s are lying tricksters who create scenarios in their head, then transplant that thought into reality. |

Unfortunately, some of the proposed measures--at least as they are described by the ACLU article--might trigger Equal Protection Clause difficulties. For example, the Supreme Court has overturned laws that impact the "innocent children" of illegals. Check out Plyler v. Doe, 457 U.S. 202 (1982).

It is high time our legislators put the brakes on this "climate" nonsense that is jacking up our power bills. The first blow, the "portfolio standards" was done by a Democrat legislature but Thom Tillis as GOP House Speaker blocked a Republican effort to repeal it, thus leaving that rotten scheme in place. Then the GOP itself knifed ratepayers in the back by allowing "leadership", RINO Senate boss Phil Berger and RINO House Speaker Timmy Moore to ram through Berger's rewrite of HB951, which was NC's Green New Deal. Shame on them! It is a huge victory that socialist Berfer was defeated in his GOP primary this year.

He was instructed by the City Council by majority vote to produce a budget budget that substantially cut taxes, but instead produced a tax and spend budget. Van Zant, you are right. The vote to substantially raise taxes was 3 to 1, with Joe Davis the only NO vote. There is lots of fluff in that tax increase budget, as there was in the last one. Perrault actually denied at last night's meeting that he had even run on the Tax Cut Team. I am sure that is news to voters who voted for him.
Perrault's other interesting line was to accuse Joe Davis of only wanting to reduce his own taxes. The reality is that a successful young businessman like Davis can afford his taxes a heck of a lot more than our senior citizens on fixed incomes, but he still cares about those senior citizens. Perrault apparently does not. Perrault owns no property in the city and thus is exempt from the tax burden he is imposing on others, including those senior citizens. |

Befuddled, it is not hard to figure out which political cabal this thuggery is coming from. The testimony under oath of the police officer told to surveil Brabo was that Sadler himself ordered it. The thugs sent to Fritz' restaurant to intimidate his customers and staff were of the same ethnicity as Sadler and Tyre, not of the others you mention. Ditto, the thug sent to Gritz' home to confront his children.

Washingtonian, do you see a pattern here? The Sadlaer / Tyre political machine attacks its political opponents by attacking their businesses. They did it to Brabo by using city government powers and then misusing the police to surveil her for political reasons. With Nick Fritz, they sent their goon squad to intimidate the customers and employees of his restaurant. We have a crooked gang with a political stranglehold on our city. It is as bad as if MS13 or Tren de Aragua came to town. Trying to destroy the businesses of political 0ppoents is VERY dirty and despicable politics. They can't attack Joe DDavis' business, so they attack him on Facebook and elsewhere online.

I did not get out of this that Meredith was accusing Coleman of padding his income. He was just flat out saying Coleman is incompetent to do the job he is running for and he is so right!!! All Coleman can do is threaten and intimidate people. I have voted Republican all my life but I will not be this time around. And maybe both of you need to reread this! You obviously did not get what was trying to be said, or maybe you both are in Coleman's pocket, too!!!
