"Every Picture Tells a Story ... Don't It:" On the Road - The Colorful Shenandoah, Chapter IV | Eastern North Carolina Now

The Greek Revival architectural style of the Suntrust Bank actually houses the Museum of Bank History. Admission is free: Below. At the corner of West Beverly Street and North Central Avenue, we have this iconic structure. I do not know its name. If anyone knows this building's origin, please send: Below.     photos by Stan Deatherage

St. Francis Catholic Church on North Augusta Street: Above. A most beautiful sunset over the Massanutten Mountain, bidding goodbye to that day, and in keeping with that vein of energy, I bid good day to you: Below.    photos by Stan Deatherage

Visiting the town of Staunton was definitely an unexpected treat and a feast for the eyes if you enjoy the unique architecture of old buildings. I would love to go back any time we are near there. The drive along the road there was absolutely beautiful with the pastoral scenery of one dairy farm after another.
