Press Release:

The North Carolina chapter of Veterans for Trump Coalition met today with Matt Miller, National Director of Veterans for Trump, in Fayetteville, NC. Among the attendees were a former Vietnam War veteran and a West Point graduate who also serve in the state legislature, NC State Senator Ron Rabin and NC State House member John Szoka. "This was a great opportunity for our coalition members to talk directly with Matt about the importance of veteran's and military issues within the campaign," said Bethany Hudson, NC Director of Coalitions for the Trump campaign. She added, "North Carolina has one of the largest military and veteran populations in the country, having coalition members convey their observations directly to Matt is extremely useful." Miller expressed his gratitude to the participants and the hosts, The Logistics Company, before returning to the Trump campaign office in Alexandria, VA.

Veteran and military support for the Trump campaign has always been strong, and recently three additional Medal of Honor recipients endorsed Donald J. Trump for president, bringing the total number backing his candidacy to seventeen. These endorsements followed forty-four additional retired admirals and generals announcing their support for Mr. Trump, bringing the total number of former flag officers supporting him to 164. These endorsements from distinguished and highly decorated former service members across all branches of service reflect his solid support in the military community. Recent polls have also shown Mr. Trump as the overwhelming choice among military voters. Last week Mr. Trump, speaking to a rally in North Carolina stated, "I am honored to have the support of seventeen Medal of Honor recipients in my campaign for president. It is incredibly humbling to be endorsed by these real and true heroes, who are some of the finest Americans this nation has ever produced."

The Veterans for Trump Coalition is made up of members from all branches of the military who are located throughout the state of North Carolina. The advisory board includes members of the US House of Representatives, the NC state legislature, and business leaders. Meetings and rallies will be held in various parts of North Carolina in the coming months.
