On Thursday, U.S. Capitol Police arrested the suspect they believed revealed the personal information of Republican senators during the Senate Judiciary Committee hearing for Christine Blasey Ford and Brett Kavanaugh last week. The suspect: Jackson Cosko, 27. He has been charged with making public restricted personal information, witness tampering, threats in interstate communications, unauthorized access of a government computer, identity theft, second degree burglary, and unlawful entry.

Who is Cosko? He was, most recently, an intern with Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee's office (D-TX). He also worked as legislative correspondent for Senator Maggie Hassan (D-NH). He was also a press assistant for Senator Barbara Boxer (D-CA). He billed himself on LinkedIn as a "Democratic Political Professional."

As The Daily Wire reported last week:

As Brett Kavanaugh testified Thursday in the Senate, refuting allegations that he sexually assaulted Dr. Christine Blasey Ford when the pair were both teenagers, a mystery was brewing in the House of Representatives, where someone connected to a House computer was "doxxing" select Senators - surreptitiously editing Wikipedia to reveal the private names and addresses of prominent Judiciary Committee Republicans.

A bot that tracks Wikipedia edits made from Congressional computers revealed the changes to Twitter in real time.

As soon as Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) concluded his fiery remarks describing the Kavanaugh affair as "the most unethical sham since I've been in politics," information for Graham and Republican Senators Mike Lee and Orrin Hatch, both of Utah, appeared on the online encyclopedia.

Originally, a Republican technology strategist blamed Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) and her staff, but Waters denied the charges.
