Another case of Donald Trump saying what he's going to do, and doing what he said he would do. It's created quite a stir in the techie world, most of whom are rabid Trump haters...at least the Big Shots of the large tech companies.

We object to The President's approach. He is precisely correct that Twitter, Facebook, Google, YouTube etc. are biased and it is disgusting to see them manipulate their users' posts. That certainly chills free speech.

But we should remember that the First Amendment does not prohibit any private citizen or corporation from using their platforms as they see fit. The First Amendment applies only to the government, not private companies and publications.

Trump is famous as the most noted Twitterer. What he should do is found a counter Twitter that leans to the right just as Twitter leans to the left. The same for Facebook and the other venues. Let them complete. We have no doubt the conservatives will flock to like-minded platforms just as happened when Rupert Murdock/Roger Ailes founded Fox News and just as they do to Rush Limbaugh and Shean Hannity.
