Biden regime's latest move to drastically raise electric rates for citizens | Eastern NC Now

costs of new CO2 restrictions on power plants will be passed on to consumers

ENCNow

Biden's EPA is at it again in their climate cult madness to raise our electric rates, and their latest gambit threatens to raise them a lot.  Costs placed on electric utilities get passed on to electric consumers.  This is just another way Biden is causing inflation because higher power prices will be reflected in the cost of most everything.

Biden's EPA has announced drastic new rules on limits to CO2 emissions by coal and gas fired power plants.   CO2 is a gas that occurs naturally in the atmosphere and is a necessary nutrient for plants.  Without it, all plant life would die, followed by all animal life.  It is also a minor "greenhouse gas" and the greenhouse effect is also necessary to sustain life on Earth.  Without it, the planet would be too cold for life to exist.  CO2 is also produced by all animal life including humans.  When we exhale, CO2 is a major part of our breath.

Do the Biden ideologues think Americans can afford their higher electric rates?  They are also heavily pushing offshore wind turbines, the most expensive way to make electriciity and one that does actual damage to the environment including slaughter of sea birds and marine mammals including whales.

An EPA attmpt to do this another way has already been struck down once by the Supreme Court.

Here is an excellent analysis of why the climate cult is full of hot air in their CO2 obsession, told through interviews with prominent scientists.  It is a TV doocumentary broadcast nationally in the UK on Channel 4 entitled "The Great Global Warming Swindle":

The EPA got really creative with the Clean Air Act to try to include CO2 which is not a pollutant. If the case brought by the fishermen now pending at the Supreme Court is decided the way most expect, I think that power grab is going to be rammed down their throat. That case should be decided in the next few months.

But the last time the EPA tried a power grab to impose these sort of restrictions on power plants, that power grab was itself shot down by the SCOTUS.

Congress passed the Clean Air Act. Pretty sure a republican was supportive. Tricky Dick as I recall.

Regulations and rules by the agencies are laws. When is Congress going to get a spine and do their job and stop these laws by unelected officials? Laws are created by Congress NOT unelected officials in these unconstitutional agencies.
