These January 6 Stalin Show Trials are just another example of the double standard in the increasingly corrupt American judicial system, not only in comparing the kid gloves treatment of major instigator Epps, who was given a slap on the wrist, compared with people who did little more than walk around, who are having the book thrown at them, but also in comparison to the ANTIFA / BLM insurrection of the previous summer, which had much much much more deaths, injuries, and damage.

A two tier, politically determined justice system, which we have now, is not democracy nor the rule of law.

The biggest travesty is Ray Epps, who is the only person filmed actually telling people to go inside the Capitol and who was present and assisting in at least two major breaachs of police lines. He was charged with minor offenses late in the game, allowed out on a nominal bond, and then sentenced to a year's probation. Epps was the most major provocateur identified in the riot, yet was only slapped on the wrist. The real question is who he was working for? The Democrats? The Feds?

Another provocateur who has long been identified by name is a known ANTIFA leader, who was present at many ANTIFA demonstrations the previous summer. He is on video egging the crowd on and repeatedly saying "Burn it down" while dressed in Trump garb. He has not even been charged. Epps was not charged for a long time even though his role was well known and well publicized. They probably figured they simply had to do something with regard to Epps.
