Poll: majority of voters in sanctuary state New York support deportation of illegal aliens | Eastern North Carolina Now

Democrat state politicians are out of touch with voters

ENCNow

A new poll by Siena College finds that a majority of voters in the sanctuary state of New York favor the Trump administration's proposal to deport illegal aliens.  This shows that the Democrat politicians at the state level are badly out of touch with their voters.  New York City Democrat major Eric Adams, on the other hand, has said he will work with Trump on deporting the illegal aliens.

The poll found that statewide, 54% of New Yorkers support the state  cooperating with President Trump's deportation plans while only 34% opposed doing so.  51% of black New Yorkers support the deportation plans as well as 49% of Latinos.

Mr Bob, I think your Trump derangement has caused your reasoning to be muddled.

Donald Trump's children became citizens when they were born, because they were the children of an American citizen...Their father, Donald, was a USA citizen. Your hate is showing.

I agree. Let me know when Caligula's spawn will be deported.

I support that!

The concept of "birthright citizenship" comes from a misinterpretation of the 14th Amendment. The discussion and writings of those who pushed that amendment through Congress show that this was not their intent. Even after its adoption, American Indians were not considered citizens and Congress had to pass a new statute to specifically award them citizenship. Almost no developed countries in the world award citizenship merely on the place of birth. It is the nationality of the parents that determines citizenship. America needs to get with the rest of the developed world on this.
