Soros-backed district attorneys are notorious for being soft on crime and hard on law enforcement. Philadelphia's Soros DA Larry Krasner has been notorious for both. As a state official, he held press conferences threatening to arrest federal ICE officials carrying out their duties in Philadelphia, for example.
Now the worm has turned.
A federal judge in Pennsylvania has issued a criminal referral to the US Department of Justice asking for a criminal investigation of Krasner and some of his staff to bring federal criminal charges against them. Federal District Judge Paul Diamond has asked the DOJ to investigate Krasner and a staff member for Obstruction of Justice and other possible crimes as a result of improper actions by Krasner and staff in connection with his attempt to free a murderer from prison.
Several Soros district attorneys have been removed from office by voters in recall elections and others fired by governors, particularly in Florida, but this is the first Soros DA who may face federal criminal prosecution.
