NC Economy | Eastern NC Now

North Carolina's economy, once vibrant, secure, struggles to endeavor for a major resurgence. There are two paths that lead the way forward: 1) One is providing a free market environment that will promote a state economy with a 'level playing field' for all participants that would be innovative, work hard and play by the rules; 2) Corporate welfare that everyone pays for, while the statists pick winners and losers. It remains to be seen which ones win out.
