Conspiracy throties are mainly coming from the left - the Russia hoax, the myth that Hunter's laptog was "foreign disinformation", the "MAGA hoax", global warming, the exameragions around January 6, etc.

A little is becoming known about the shooter Thomas Matthew Crooks, is a 20 year old Delaware man who lived at home with his parents, who are both school counselors. He is a Democrat political contributor, making his first contribution of $15 at the age of 17 on the day of Biden's inauguration. His contributions have been through the Democrat contribution processing firm Act Blue, so there is no way to determine, absent their opening their records, the specific Democrat candidates or organizations his contributions went to. He was however, registered as a Republican, likely to be able to vote against Trump in the GOP primary. Pennsylvania is a closed primary state where only registered Republicans could vote in the Republican primary.

A curious thing is that Crook was in a TV ad for major financial firm Blackrock last year. Blackrock is headed by major globalist Larry Fink, who is a key operative of the globalist World Economic Forum. There are a lot of questions about the Secret Service in this assassination attempt. Several rallygoers say they pointed out the man with the rifle to the Secret Service minutes before the shooting. Film has emereged with a Secret Service counter-sniper team with rifles trained on the shooter before he started shooting. Why did they let him get off any shots, much less 8? Was this incompetence or something worse?

We have to remember that the Secret Service comes under rogue DHHS Secretary Mayorkas, the same guy behind the illegal immigration surge, who has previosuly played politics with Secret Service protection by denied it totally to RFK, Jr. whose father and uncle were both victims of political assaaination.

This is not new in this election cycle from the Democrats. A group led by a Biden political appointee tried to get Trump off the ballot in mulitple states until the SCOTUS shut that plot down. The Biden Democrats used control of the party structure to shut out Democrat primary challengers, both knocking them off primary ballots as they did here in NC and in other states, and refusing to allow a Democrat primary sets of debates. They forced major challenger RFK.Jr. out of the manipulated Democrat primary and into running as an independent. Now they are trying to cut third parties and independents off the ballot.

How can any thinking person believe what the Democrats say about democracy when they observe what Democrats actually do.

LIberal Bloomberg may not have been looking but many conservatives were. So were a lot of liberals because this case was one of the reasons that the left has been so active in attacking the Supreme Court. However a second case that came down today also is a blow to the gut of the bureaucratic administrative state, opening up opportunities to sue by weakening the statute of limitations. Together these cases are a godsend for ordinary Americans against arrogant bureaucrats and their administrative overreach.

"ESSER funds"???? Someone with that detailed minutia sounds like a central office school employee, not a parent. Regardlesss of where public funds come from, they should not be flagrantly wasted. If the school was going to get torn down, shouldn't those funds have been spent somewhere else? Or was the plan for Eastern Elementary thrown together more recently than that? Either way, it illustrates the need for long range school facility planning that the current superintendant and current school board majority seem incapable of.

The only one of the two that is really known for a fact to be a "junk grabber" is Biden. Ask Tara Reade, Biden's former Senate employee. Biden did more than grab. He inserted his finger in her, what is known as digital rape, against her will.

As to the rigged Stalin Show Trial in Manhattan, that proves nothing except that the New York court system is thoroughly corrupt.

Anyone who watched the debate can see that Biden is well past being able to run the country. So who is? Some say Obama. Some say the deep state. Sokme say others. But Biden is clearly no capable of it.

Bobbie, many conservatives want to improve the fairness and objectivity of presidential debates, which has been badly needed for a long time. That is why the RNC cut its involvment with the Presidential Debate Commission last year, before even knowing who the nominee would be. Left wing "journalists" should not have a monopoly on control of presidential debates. Yeah, Trump kicked Biden's ass, but the issue going forward is lets establish a level playing field for future presidential debates. Tapper and Bash could have been more blatant in skewing questions than they were, and the back that their bias and the network's bias was made so public probably stopped them from doing more than they did.

What is really needed for future debates is to let each candidate choose one moderator. Among other things, if a moderator got out of hand with such an arrangement, it would be clear to voters which candidate was to blame for them.

Superintendant Cheeseman does not care about what is good for education in Beaufort County, just about what looks good on his resume to get a higher paying and more prestigious job in a bigger system. Unfortunately, the majority of our school board are little more than seat warmers who do not really engage on school policy but instead just rubberstamp whatever Cheeseman tells them to do. Mack Hodges, T.W. Allen, and Eltha Booth are particularly pathetic examples of this. We need a school board that engages on policy, not the weak fools we have warming so many of those seats now.

School consolidation is a part of the liberal school establishment's agenda, which is opposed by conservatives who favor neighborhood schools. Conservatives believe that especially in lower grades, neighborhood schools provide an atmosphere much more conducive to family involement and that it is easy for students to feel lost in mega schools.

As for changing schools so often, this is actually worse with a K-3 elementary school instead of having elementary school extend up to the 6th grade as used to be the norm. Building a series, perhaps three, neighborhood K-6 schools would be much more positive for education that a mega K-3 school. Existing schools could be repurposed for that with renovations and perhaps some new construction as needed.

If DPI is misusing the lottery money to push the liberal agenda of school consolidation, the legislature needs to step in and put a stop to that. Local control of local schools means that local elected school boards should decide what is best for their district's needs, not liberal educrats in Raleigh.
