Have read that things would get interesting this weekend has to do with the end Shemitah, which happens every 7 years.

Go get a vehicle and run a person down on purpose with a vehicle get charged with vehicular homicide and you get a low bail, go get a gun and kill a person it is first degree murder most likely with very high or no bail. So many double standards it is sickening. Sadly the message I see people getting from this is kill with a vehicle and get a lesser charge and most likely a much shorter sentence in jail than killing someone with a gun.

It should be up to each of us where our money is donated. I find no reason to donated to any of the charities listed any longer since my money is already being donated to them by way of my taxes.
I do find it interesting that the county commissioners are giving to charities but yet the Beaufort County Animal Shelter is constantly asking for donations for food, cleaning supplies, money for a new sign, etc. Why cannot the county any longer supply food to feed the animals in its care? Sept. 12, they received donations of food from a drive held at Tractor Supply, quote from AC "We now have plenty of food for out shelter babies!" Aug 31 "The shelter is in desperate need of large breed dog food!" Aug 31 asking for donations of pelletized bedding that they use for cat litter. Aug. 18 the shelter was asking for donations of wet puppy food, dry dog food, hand towels, low splash bleach and dog houses. I could continue but you get the idea. At one time the county provided food for the animals, cat litter, cleaning supplies, etc. Why have they stopped doing this?

Is this all by design? Think back to the slave days, slaves were forbidden from learning how to read and write as the owners knew if they could they would gain knowledge and that would lead to them fighting back about being held in slavery. Under educated and uneducated people are easier for the govt. to control. Children now a days are not being taught to think for themselves but what to think. IMO schools need to go back to the basics, reading, writing, math, science and other core subjects. Dump the politically correct garbage.
