1974 ... now, this is rich. You're making my sides hurt.
Your 1974 could very easily be me in 1979: the hair, the big glasses, the wide tie, I had a neat full beard then, and other than the desk scene, where I had a massive monitor on my desk, we could have been interchangeable.

"You never let a serious crisis go to waste." could be at the core of why this Democrats' president could never be a leader, and is certainly not a patriot.
Hussein is a Sociopath, feining empathy, and, ultimately, earning the disdain of real Americans.

Commented on Islamic Terrorist Attacks Gay NightClub in Orlando; Obama Laments the Ease of Obtaining Guns in AmericaBy sheer coincidence, my wife rented "13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi" on Saturday night before all of this horror was unveiled by Omar Marteen.
After watching biopic and reliving the treasonous lies of Hussein and Hillary, I became angered as any true patriot would have been over the specious comments that were at the core of the Democrats' vapid president. Hearing Donal J. Trump call for America's first non patriot president to resign caused this reluctant Trump supporter to not only become increasingly willing to vote for the political neophyte, Trump, but to ask others, maybe, even to beg others to vote for the man. If you might consider yourself an American patriot, ask yourself this: Can this Republic withstand a second non patriot American president, which Hillary is proved to be, after 8 full years of after the first - Non Patriot Obama? Think deeply about this if you might remotely love this nation one day.

Diane Rufino, from New Jersey, is a huge state's rights advocate, and sees the Civil War as the turning point when that concept of limited federal government began to diminish.
Now, most Americans have no concept of the state's rights construct. Could we lose our Republic?

Commented on Muhammad Ali - The Controversy continuesBush served in the National Guard when the National Guard stayed stateside, not so much now. The National Guard gets plenty of action in the rear guard of the frontline against Radical Islam.
I have mixed feelings about Ali not serving when called to. I had a good draft number(s?) the one year (or was it two years?), I was eligible for conscription, while Vietnam was still a pretty big battleground; so my opinion really does not matter here. What matters is how the Vietnam War era vets feel on this one. I completely defer to you guys for your opinion because of your patriotic service.

Great one. And very true ... in a very real sense.
I have complete first hand knowledge of this. But many folks in Beaufort County, and especially around Washington desire higher taxes from wasteful spending and bad policy, so, they get the government they deserve, which they also desire. When that attitude changes, they will get better governments.

I am surprised that Rep. Jones had to seek legislation to stop this abhorrent behavior.
Regardless of your position on pornography, there is no place on the public payroll, at all levels of government, where the employees are not pushed to perform. This is more a case of terrible management than the evils of pornography, and it is inherently wicked. My overall solution for the Federal government, and this does not include the military, is to decimate the workforce; in the pure literal sense, you cut the workforce by 10%. After that first slice, you look for additional cuts and get another 10%. Then you tell the remaining 80% to get to work, and then they will know you mean it.

Ah, the fun filled, rollicking days of being a G.I. in "far away places, with strange sounding names".
Such frivolity. And you got a government issued monthly stipend, B.T., while all this fun and adventure was such a big part of your everyday existence. How lucky was that?

Don't be mistaken here: These posts are categorized, Searchable and easy to find already, and can be read readily; however, lifting them back to the Latest section does give them a nice bump. This is, once again, the least I can do for these great American patriots.

Commented on Medics in VietnamThanks Bobby Tony for continuing TMc's historical discussion about some of the greatest patriots in American history: the Navy Corpsman and the Army Medic.
Their selfless valor is the ultimate expression of living in Christ while serving at war. My heart goes out to Doc TerryM, and others like him, that saw too much, know too much, and, in healing their broken comrades, loved too much. They are such selfless heroes, and we all owe them our undying gratitude, our continued prayers.

Here below is the video of what got this profane /stupid high school student forcibly removed from what is supposed to resemble a classroom at Washington High School, where we are supposed to teach our children many, many lessons.
The video warns of foul language. I will further warn of mild to severe depression if you care about your nation. I pray that God will grant us the strength to save our Republic ... if we are worthy. beaufortcountynow.com

This is a real threat to this generation and all future generations: The battleground where the public education of our children meets the more frequent classroom skirmish, where unruly, profane and stupid children ruin the learning environment for all, which is so important to the continuance our people as a viable nation.
These offended parents appear to have their misplaced priorities way out of whack, and may well be part of the source for their child's antisocial behavior. A public education, no matter how any ignorant Liberal may vehemently disagree, is not a right, it is a privilege. One cannot educate devoted students in this caustic of an environment with any true level of success. Sheriff Coleman has my 100% support.

But I still found those stamps a fabulous resource and laughed out loud when probably few others would find them funny.
And that is why I do BCN: It is okay to be different. It began with me as a Conservative county commissioner (I was elected by the more rural folk) from a very liberal town - Washington, NC. A town where many status seekers are completely indistinguishable from one another. It is okay to be different, original, creative, and other folks enjoy it. I know i do.
