What would cut down the backlog even more is to follow the asylum treaties that do not require asylum claims to even be considered when the migrant enters from a safe country. Mexico and Canada are considered safe countries, so all migrants who entered through either of those borders should have their asylum claims summarily dismissed. This is what Hungary does through a very quick procedure in front of a magistrate.

The gold standard for stopping illegal aliens invading by boat is Australia's Operation Sovereign Borders under Prime Minister Tony Abbot. It was directed by an Australian army general and they identified inbound migrant boats and intercepted them on the high seas before they reached Australia, turning them around, sometimes at gunpoint, back to where they came from. For these who for one reason or another could not be sent home, they set up an offshore camp in New Guinea where they were sent.
Hooray for Greece! If the lousy EU courts try to interfere, Greece should do like the UK and get out of the globalist EU.

Deportation of Third World freeloaders will soon be a thing throughout the western world. Here in the US, the Trump administration has kicked 275,000 illegal aliens out of Social Security who were not legally supposed to be on it. That makes the system stronger for actual citizens.

We have too many Obama and Biden judges playing politics with their offices and that needs be changed. Judges do not have the power to change temporary protected status to permanent, but that is what this out-of-control whack-job Biden judge is trying to do. Using a political slogan as a basis for it just makes it more absurd.
Temporary Protected Status is supposed to be just that - TEMPORARY. It has already been administratively abused for these nationalities, and now when that is fixed on the administrative level, it is judicially abused.

Commented on There’s hope for healthcareFlorida took an interesting approach to reducing the mooching of health care by deadbeat illegal aliens, and it is working. Under Governor deSantis, they adopted legislation to require hospitals to determine the citizenship and immigration status of patients at admission. Once that went into effect, it cut illegal alien freeloading of health care dramatically. We should do that in North Carolina, too.

Commented on General Assembly overrides Stein vetos of 7 bills, incl. gender and sanctuary city billsEnding North Carolina's sanctuary counties is great work for our General Assembly. This problem was created by liberal Democrat sheriffs acting arbitrarily in Wake, Durham, Orange, Mecklenburg, Chatham, Guilford, and Forsyth counties. Now these sheriffs will have to follow the law and help ICE detain criminal illegal aliens.
These counties were a danger to our whole state. A sanctuary sheriff in, say Wake County, could let an illegal alien criminal loose, and they could come here to commit their next crime instead of being deported like they should be. Josh Stein is an amnesty whore and an embarassment to North Carolina. So are most Democrat members of the General Assembly.

Commented on Stating the ObviousThere is a huge difference in vetting of legal immigrants and illegal aliens.
Illegal aliens usually throw away their real ID before they cross the border. Reporters have found vast piles of discarded ID's on the south bank of the Rio Grande, for instance. After they cross the border, they are then "undocumented" so they can be anyone they want to be, give whatever name, whatever age, and whatever country of origin they think will most benefit them. Multiple European countries that have used other tests to discover true age, for example, have found that a majority of illegal aliens who claim to be unaccompanied minors are, in fact, adults lying about their age. In Sweden, it was as high as 90%. When authorities do not have the correct name, age, and country, how are they expected to do any meaningful vetting????? For those with criminal records or on terrorist lists, you can expect 100% of them to give false information to get into the country. For legal immigrants, they are most of the time still in their home country, where it is easy to find out if they are giving their true identities and then to thoroughly check their background. These are people who can be properly vetted. Illegal aliens are NOT. One thing that would help a lot when an illegal alien is processed is a polygraph.

The taxpayers of the US, UK, other European countries should NOT be putting illegal aliens up in luxury hotels, but that has been happening on a wide scale in the US, too, particularly in big northern cities. Subsidizing these deadbeats soaked up so much money in Biden's FEMA budget that they ran short for actual disasters like hurricanes.
SEnd them home.

The welfare costs for illegal aliens are enormous in all western countries. Illegal aliens should NOT be allowed to freeload off of taxpayers. European countries are being financially strangled with the burden of welfare costs for illegal aliens. In Germany, for example 63% of all welfare expenditures are to illegal alien "asylum seekers" and the amoung paid in those welfare checks is more than paid to German citizen senior citizens in their pensions. That is just appalling.

Europeans are seeing their nations being destroyed by mass migration and are trying to save them while they can. In some countries, the politicians are listening. In others, citizens are changing their politics to parties that do listen, like the continuing increase is support of the Alternativ fur Deutschland in Germany. AfD is already the main opposition party in the Bundestag and has increased its support since last year's election.

Commented on Stating the ObviousGlobalism is based on elitism. Their WEF confabs at Davos have lots of luxury private jets parked and lots of high end prostitutes ready for action. Yet they want to preach to the masses about "global warming" and eating bugs and worms instead of meat. Mass migration is one of their tactics to try to break down the nation-state. Their version of socialism or the Great Reset would resemble the comment of the leader of the pigs in Orwell's "Animal Farm" when he said "all animals are equal, but some are more equal than others."

Commented on Stating the ObviousI am surprised to see a defense of Biden's awful open borders policies presented on the BO. Legal immigrants, the only ones lawfully defined as "immigrants" have to go through extensive vetting and medical testing in their home countries before they are approved to come to America. There are limited slots and in some countries they are difficult to get. These are the TRUE immigrants, in the mold of those who built America, not the illegal aliens who thumb their noses at our immigration laws and take it upon themselves to illegally crash our borders. These are different groups which should be treasted differently.
A legal immigrant has to have an American sponsor to sign an affidavit of support to provide the needs of the immigrant if he or she is unable to do so for themselves. An illegal alien, on the other hand is a freeloader who leans on the American taxpayer to subsidize him or her. Freeloading illegal aliens cost Americans in a lot of ways other than just through taxes. Our medical costs have skyrocketed due to illegal alien freeloaders who do not pay their bills, and the hospital losses are pushed onto paying patients. That jacks up our medical bills and our health insurance premiums. Germany is a good example of the enormous cost of these illegal alien migrants, Illegal alien "asylum seekers" now account for 63% of German welfare spending. And remember when FEMA had no funds for hurricane relief last year? The Biden regime had spent that FEMA money on illegal aliens and that is why it was not there for hurricane relief. What part of "illegal" do you not understand, Bill Lee?

In many parts of Europe, and Germany and France are the worst, there are attempts to criminalize opposition to mass migration. In France, a French senator was arrested for "hate speech" for posting online "immigration Kills" after a brutal murder and rape of a French girl by an illegal alien.
The globalists are no different than the communists or nazis on suppressing free speech. The most dangerous totalitarians of today owe their allegiance to Davos and the WEF.
