Good for you Mr. Deatherage! In Pitt County, at our commissioner's meetings we are "allowed" to address the board for 3 minutes (timed) during our public comments session. Beyond that "allowance," I'm not sure how our protocol works. But to your point, we as citizens, should be able to redress grievances. Citizens are often held CAPTIVE to political protocols and their concerns are pushed aside. That of course happens in Pitt County as well.

Commented On Disappearing South, Volume I: Homes Once Alive
Hello Liz,
I am fairly new to this publication but was looking through "posting categories" tonight and ran across the Disappearing South category. You have captured the essence of this category with your pictorial expressions exhibited here. I live in Pitt County and often take notice of crumbling houses, barns, and other structures as I drive. Another category beyond the buildings, is the farm equipment graveyards. It's quite sad that we as a society just cast things aside and allow them to decay at their own speed. And by the way, our historical markers and monuments don't fare much better. I've become much more attuned to history over the last few years . . . but then again . . . I'm a bit of 'history' myself. Hmmm, interesting. Glad this one in Georgia went down in flames. From my perspective, politicians excel at one thing: talking out both sides of their mouths. Whether politicians are local, state, or national, we as constituents should pay attention to their actions and hold their feet to the fire. Most of them are aware of the word "transparency," but fail to practice it. Back room deals are the norm and constituents suffer the consequences.

Fantastic questions! First, let’s talk about a quick definition of what part of globalization I like to discuss. Globalization is a term used to describe how trade and technology have made the world into a more connected and interdependent place. Globalization also captures in its scope the economic and social changes that have come about as a result of digital communications we can share responsibly and safely with our children to heighten learning and resource. At this point, since the 20th century we have experienced free trade and international cooperation, the end of the Cold War, the introduction of new communication and transportation technologies, and the rise of the internet. What do statements about public relations, economy, and globalization regarding myself mean? It means no ceiling for the solutions and possibilities we may face as an individual, organization or community. |

Murphy wrote the original Medicaid Expansion while in the NC House called Carolina Care which he denied was Medicaid Expansion but of course was. He's also supported Certificate of Need laws which more than any other government interference on the books have closed rural hospitals.

This seems like what they wanted all along. Eric Adams is just another puppet in their game. Where is the accountability for these so called "leaders" in 2020 that said to mask up and keep a distance. They scared us from interacting with one another and sharing our own experiences. More than ever people are waking up to this plan. Their cover-up will get them caught and expose them for who they really work for.
