BCCC's Travel/Study Group recently visited the Xunantunich ruins - containing the second tallest building in Belize - during their week-long trip to that country. They reached the ruins via a hand-cranked ferry. During their trip, the group also rode on a zip line, among other activities.

Look at the pictures carefully and you see 6 guys. Add the teenager in a separate photo and you have a squad of infantrymen. The Sarge, Machine gunner, two ammo bearers, One rifleman and one who might have been a medic. This may have been the whole squad which was normally 7-12 guys.

Governor Pat McCrory announced today North Carolina has paid off the unemployment insurance debt owed to the federal government. That debt was as high as $2.8 billion and stood at $2.5 billion when Governor McCrory took office in January 2013.
