A Downton Abbey Christmas | Eastern North Carolina Now

Publishers note: We have now have two volumes of A Downton Abbey Christmas. Click here for Volume I.

I first learned of Carson's penchant for Christmas frivolity when I discovered this Greenpeace Christmas scene featuring a disheveled, despondent Santa Claus bumping around in dimly lit coal basement; a Santa in need of a rather stiff drink. Now, BCN offers a more whimsical Carson; a Carson that possibly did find that stiff drink.
Carson and the other Downton Abbey Attendants line up to serve yet another Downton Christmas. So, this is how the "1%" lives, and why do so many love to watch it. Carson stands in the middle: Above.    Click image to expand. Carson finds a whimsical spark within himself: Below.

Below, we offer a sample of the Downton Abbey traditional carol fair: Below.

The actors that play the Downton characters offer a bit of frivolity of subject as they discuss their characters so many have come to enjoy: Below.

Publisher's note: If you are really in the Christmas spirit, or just in the need for more, please click here to access all of the holiday spirit in melody and narrative that BCN can harness and offer for this Yuletide Season.
