Heavy Rains, Coastal Flooding & Dangerous Rip Currents

    Our office continues to monitor weather conditions for the remainder of the week. The following is expected for Beaufort County though Friday.

  • An additional 2 to 3 inches of rain is expected. We will most likely see our heaviest rains occurring tomorrow, with most areas receiving 1 1/2 inches.
  • East winds between 12 and 15 mph are expected through sunset Thursday, causing up to 2' of surge along our shorelines.

    We encourage everyone to continue to monitor local media outlets for updates, as well as any watches and / or warnings that may be issued.
