RINO Congressman Greg Murphy sinking deeper into the DC Swamp | Eastern North Carolina Now

claimed to be Freedom Caucus type in primary; now totally swamp RINO

ENCNow

In his first Congressional primary, State Representaive Greg "Medicaid" Murphy (RINO-Pitt) claimed to be a budding Freedom Caucus type and convinced DC's Freedom Caucus leaders to run campaign ads for him and endorse him.  Once he got to DC, Murphy quickly abandoned the conservative Freedom Caucus and started buttering up the GOP establishment.

Now in a recent interview with WTIB's Henry Hinton, Murphy has gone full swamp RINO.  Murphy declared that he wanted to "find a way to vote YES on bills, not always be NO on everything."  That was a direct shot at the Freedom Caucus which is trying to stop the corrupt deal making on liberal legislation.  Murphy has already been a YES on too much bad liberal legislation like the cancel culture bill against the South that has resulted in Fort Bragg no longer being Fort Bragg, and the corrupt compromise that left Obama's army of new IRS agents to prey on the middle class in place.

Murphy's predecessor, Walter Jones was a hero to most Republicans precisely because he had the backbone to stand up and vote NO to big spending legislation, even when the swampy GOP leadership went along with it.  GOP activists also remember our conservative Senator Jesse Helms who was proud of the Democrats dubbing him "Senator NO".

Murphy also patted himself on the back for joining the Democrats in their unprecedented removal of George Santos before he even had the due process of his day in court on his charges.  Given the thin GOP House majority, this was an extremely stupid political move, particularly when Joe Biden has done most of the things Santos did and even worse.

Where can the 3rd District find another Walter Jones to replace Medicaid Murphy?

The US House Freedom Caucus lost the plot in that 3rd CD primary. Greg Murphy had a rather liberal record, including voting to let men into womens restrooms and locker rooms. Most of the other candidates were more conservative than Murphy, but the conservative vote got divided, and Murphy misrepresented his own record to voters that had not kept up with it. Walter Jones was great. Not so, Greg Murphy.

In remembrance of the day that will forever seer the concept of 'evil' in our minds, let's look back at that fateful morning, exactly 11 years ago today to that series of horrific events which unfolded before our unbelieving eyes......

It was a clear beautiful, royal blue sky day on Wall Street. The S & P futures were up markedly, awaiting a positive open, as I turn to get my first cup of coffee. I return to CNBC to get the morning business news, when I notice that the S & P futures are falling, and they're falling fast.
