The great irony here is that when Commissioner Hood Richardson and myself (Commissioner Stan Deatherage) initiated the filming of the Beaufort County Commissioner Meetings by organizing the effort finance and politically wedge window to government into the public's psyche, nominal Republicans John Rebholz and Frankie Waters were not a part of this laborious and costly process; in fact, neither were Beaufort County Republicans. At that time, John Rebholz was somewhere in Michigan, and Frankie Waters was ingrained within the Democrat(ic) Party helping to elect their Liberal candidates.

Now both are deep within the new Beaufort County Republican party standing tall for sharing power with Democratic Socialists, while standing firm AGAINST proper Open Meetings access, and Free and Fair Elections.

I have complete confidence in our elections director, Kelly Hopkins, who I have know for decades, and have a wonderful relationship with; however, I know now know how Democratic Socialists can be, and will stop at nothing to grab power.

They must be stopped if we are to continue as a Constitutional Republic.

Thanks William. Mr. Deatherage, translated as Stan, would be very interested in interviewing, by discussion, young conservatives.

In fact, once this pandemic abates, I would like to do a show with as many as three to four young Republicans and discuss the future of Conservative politics and governing.

When I became a Republican in 1991 or 1992, I left the Democrat party with a mission, recognizing that outside of Mitchell Norton - Beaufort County DA, I had not voted for a Democrat for years, and wanted to get more Republicans elected in Beaufort County.

Now, I am not so much interested in getting Republicans elected, I am moreover interested in getting Conservatives elected and forever changing the Republican party to a more serious instrument of doing some real good for our Republic.

From a clear perspective, nominal Republicans began working with the elected Democrat county commissioners to form a coalition against the Real Republican /Conservative county commissioners to ringfence their conservative effectiveness since December, 2003.

It be became more apparent in more recent years once the Democrat party morphed into the Democratic Socialist party, yet this did not deter Democrats like Frankie Waters and Jerry Evans from becoming Republicans to run for office, then once elected to the Beaufort County Commissioners, they formed coalitions with whatever Democratic Socialists they could assemble, and then voted accordingly to share power, and raise spending and taxes /fees.

The only difference for at least the next two years is that there exists at least 3 trustworthy Republicans, who will take all this to the public to whatever extent necessary to end this grand hypocrisy.
