I wonder if Speedway's price gouge on gas locally will stick. As of ten minutes ago, Murphy's Express was still $2.67 a gallon, and had not matched Sjpeedway's $2.99. The Union 76 convenience store across from the police station was at $2.70. Sometimes the pro-consumer stations just refuse to follow Speedway and forces Spreedway's price back down.

Before Speedway bought out its predecessor, Washington used to regularly have the cheapest gas in the area. Since SPeedway came on the scene, that has all changed. Now, very often, any direction you drive you will find cheaper gas - Plymouth, Williamston, Greenville, New Bern. Jacksonville, even at times Nags Head.

NEVER SPEEDWAY.

When ABC News had 100% of its coverage of Harris positive on her and 97% of its coverage of Trump negative, anyone with half a brain could see that their debate "moderators would have a similar slant. They should never have had the level of control of a presidential debate that they were allowed.

One rule that ought to be put in place is that no entity whose own campaign coverage was more than 60-40 in one direction or the other would have any role in any presidential debate.

One remembers the ACORN scandal some years ago when ACORN was operating nationally turning in loads of fraudulent voter registrations. Community organizer Barack Obama was involved at one point with ACORN although apparently not when they were on the fake voter registration kick. Now, we seem to have other organizations out taking up where they left off.

Criminal laws need to be amended to provide for extremely seevere sentences for anyone involved in fraudulent voter registration. Jail them until they are old and gray.

The Disinformation Governance Board is hardly made up, and Bolshevik Bob is either ignorant or lying when he claims that. It was the Biden-Harris attempt to set up a "Ministry of Truth" as in Orwell's novel "1984".

The Twitter files released by Elon Musk showed uncontrovertable evidence that the US government was pressuring social media to suppress free speech of American citizens, and social media knunckled under. The discovery and evidence at trial of Missouri v. Biden added more evidence of that. Biden-Harris tried to go further by setting up a "Ministry of Truth" in their "Disinformation Control Board" which got so much pushback, they finally canned it.

It is critical for free speech around the world that Trump win. Globalism is the new totalitarian threat in today's world, as bad as communism or fascism in the past. Like the communists and fascists, they want to goosestep all over free speech. Kamala Harris is of that same mindset and she would be a threat to free speech worldwide. Donald Trump will stand up for free speech, especially with his alignment with Elon Musk. The EU is even trying to use their legislation to suppress free speech here in the US. I have high confidence that Trump would stand up to that, such as throwing some tariffs on them if they tried to suppress free speech. The UK, Germany, and France have the worst situations for lack of free speech, but most of the suppression comes from the EU itself.

The EU also has their schemes to force leftwing ESG on American companies, and we need Trump in there to put a stop to that

We have an awful choice for governor, where an opportunist who was very weak on issues as Lt. Governor and has some personal baggage, although that is exagerated against the most far left major candidate we have ever had for NC governor. Personally, I will hold my nose for the opportunist as he is less of a threat to our state.

Stein's campaign has been very dishonest with its campaign. Recently, for example, they took portions of three different Robinson speeches and put them together as if they were all said as part of one statement. Individually, in context, in the three speechs, if you heard it, it would come across as a normal comment. Twisted togethter, however, it created a comment that sounced "off the wall".

Then there is the clip of Robinson played incessently by Stein about girls keeping their dresses down to prevent pregnancies. In the actual comment Robinson made, he immediately followed that with saying boys needed to keep their pants up. The actual comment treated boys and girls equally, but liar Stein took just the one part of it to create a different image. Josh Stein and his campaign team have shown themselves to be totally dishonest in this campaign.

For the next four years, there is little doubt I am goving to have a governor I don't want whichever of these poor candidates win.

It is the Democrats in Congress who are fairly openly plotting an insurrection, hoping to get a Democratic majority to declare Trump inelibigle due to their J6 narrative. Given the coup they have already pulled within their own party to dump Biden for Harris, they are probably not beyond such a coup attampt against Trump. By declaring Trump ineligible that would throw the election to the House of Representatives.

It is the "Democrats" who are the threat to democracy.

Cheeseman is a control freak. We have already lost too many good teachers who could not put up with that. But the ultimate thing he wants to control is his boss, the school board. Mac Hodges is a yes-man, a total flunky of Cheeseman, and Dheeseman desperately wants to see Hodges remain in office so he can control the school board. Eltha Booth and T.W. Allen are his other sock puppets who are running this year.

Citizens and taxpayers do NOT need a bureaucrat like Cheeseman controlling our elected policymakers. It is the board that is supposed to be in charge, not Cheeseman, but as long as he has his flunkies in a majority on the board, he is the one who controls things. Voters need to change that by rejecting Hodges, Booth, and Allen.

This was election interference by Cheeseman and an absue of his office. The new school board, if citizen-representatives attain a majority should NOT tolerate that.

Honest voter registration campaigns, as have been run in the past by both parties have turned in the forms as they got them and did it to the proper offices. This was not Democrats or Republicans doing this. It was far left activist organizations, and given the ACORN history, they should be held to the rules. If they did not turn them in to the county by the proper date, they should have been rejected. This is the Cloward-Piven strategy of trying to overwhelm the system.

And to Bogus Bob, the people who called their local board of elections to complain were just citizens, not people supporting any particular candidate. In fact, if they hadn't registered themselves, they probably do not care at all about politics. The next step would be to have someone put in an absentee ballot request in their names.
