It is not just the governor candidates of the GOP that Michigan Democrats are kicking off the ballot, it is other races as well. This America First conservative seeking a State House seat is another example:

To elect a conservative county commission majority, we need to elect both Tandy Dunn and Stan Deatherage. Waters and Booth are two peas in a left wing pod, and we need to defeat one of them in the general election.

What is needed is to arm vetted and trained teachers and staff. As a father of a victim in the FLorida school shooting pointed out "when seconds count, the police are minutes away." Making schools "gun free zones" makes them soft targets attractive to nutjobs. If they don't know which teacher or staff member will pull out a concealed carry weapon and shoot back, it is a huge deterrent. Polls show that the majority of Americans support arming teachers, so why do we have head-in-the-sand school boards who fail to take this important step to protect students?
For that matter, we have liberal county commissioners like Frankie Waters and Jerry Langley and Ed Booth who have opposed allowing county employees who are trained and licensed to concealed carry on the job. That helps protect both county employees and citizens.

There is little doubt what will happen in BoCo schools. Superintendent Cheeseman will go with the education establishment, like he always does, and recommend that boys be let into the girls restrooms and showers, claiming there is "no choice". Then the pathetic yes-men and yes-women we have on the school board will rubberstamp Cheeseman's obscene recommendation. If we had school board members with any gonads, they would tell the tyrant Biden to pound sand, and set up our own lunch program without federal money or control. We should also look to sue the Biden regime over this travesty.

Commented on Parallels in HistoryYour analogy linking Russia with the Unionist north of the War for Southern Independence period played out in the breakup of the Soviet Union, when anti-communist demonstrators carried the Confederate battle flag as a symbol of liberty and overthrowing the communist yoke in demonstrations against communist rule.
I had a friend who spent several weeks in Berlin during the period before and after the fall of the Berlin Wall. On a number of days before the wall actually fell, he had gone to a place he could overlook the wall and see the demonstrators on the other side. As a Southerner, he immediately noticed a large Confederate battle flag being waved by two men in the anti-communist demonstration. He noted the same men with that flag on a number of different occasions, and also noted a few smaller Confederate flags among the demonstrators. After the wall fell, his curiosity about the Confederate flags led him to make inquiries of East Germans who had flooded into West Berlin. What he learned was that Gorbachev had made a speech that was widely reported in communist countries comparing himself to Lincoln and "saving the [Soviet] union". That speech had led to anti-communists adopting the Confederate flag as a symbol, and apparently it was used in other anti-communist demonstrations in places other than Berlin.

Commented on McCrory Statement on Election ResultsGood riddance to a pompous fake. McCrory was a terrible governor and would have been a terrible senator, a RINO through and through. McCrory mostly ran his campaign on telling malicious lies on his main opponents. We do not need his kind in NC politics.

Greg Murphy is running an ad that is at best a half truth, and is really a lie. He says "his opponent" is a lifelong Democrat. But Murphy has 4 opponents and does not say which one! Tony Cowden is NOT a lifelong Democrat, and is Murphy's top opponent. So it appears that a minor opponent has been a Democrat and by not specifying which opponent, Murphy expects voters to falsely conclude it is Cowden. Murphy is being sleazy, dishones, and underhanded and we do not need that in a Congressman.

Another political lie being spread in Beaufort County comes from the campaign of Butch Oliver who is calling his conservative opponent Donald Shreve "a liberal from New Jersey". In fact, Shreve is a native of Forsyth County, North Carolina and has lived many years in eastern NC. While Shreve wants to take meaningful action against Critical Race Theory in Beaufort County Schools, Oliver has helped sweep the issue under the table and put up a fig leaf. Shreve will be a voice for parents, while Oliver is a lackey for the school bureaucracy, particularly the superintendant. Shreve is the conservative in the race.

Using "patrioto" instead of "patriot" is popular, I am told, in the Q-anon movement.
Q-anon believes that there is a senior career bureaucrat who goes by the code name "Q" high in government who is an anonymous whistle blower on what the deep state is up to, a sort of deep throat in the deep state. "Q" comes from the special weapons guy with the same code name in the James Bond movies. Q-anon followers are sometimes colorful like the "Q-anon Shamen" who was arrested in the Capitol riot wearing animal skins and a horned Viking hat. A shamen is a sort of Indian medicine man. They also come up with ideas that are downright strange like the contention that there is a "Jewish space laser". All in all, they are prone to conspiracy theories. The persistent use of this term "patrioto" makes one wonder if Mr. Cratch and perhaps Mrs. Slann are Q-anon.

I have a brother myself who is a very leftwing Democrat and his wife is even father left. If they do something politically is that going to be blamed on me by gossip mongers like Mr. Cratch?

Commented on Budd Skips Second Debate, Hides From VotersWhat BS from RINO McCrory. A "debate" run by an organization funded by McCrory's former Budget Director is simply NOT going to be an objective "debate" and neither is one run by the left wing media like far left WRAL. I like the attitude of the Republican National Committee in withdrawing themselves and their candidates from the Committee on Presidential Debates, which always rigged their "debates" for the left. Without an honest and objective debate format, candidates should avoid these events. Otherwise the left will keep rigging them. The best debate format is the Lincoln-Douglas format, where there are NO questions from any moderator or panel which is likely to be biased. Each candidate poses an equal number of questions. That creates a fair shake for everybody.

Commented on Two Republican Parties in Beaufort CountyWe have the Uniparty in Washington DC and also here in Beaufort County. In Washington, DC, it is Mitch McConnell that is its top operator. McConnell, who has strong personal financial ties to Red China, has been running interference on many key issues for Biden, including on many of Biden's spending boondoggles. There are also quite a number of Uniparty types in the House like Liz Cheney and Adam Kinzinger.
In Beaufort County, the Uniparty is represented by the coalition between RINOs and far left Democrats on the county commission. Frankie Waters and Jerry Langley are the current Uniparty leaders there but other RINOs have allied with Langley in the past. Both Waters and Langley have voted against gun rights, for illegal immigration, and for big spending and high taxes. Their Uniparty coalition seeks to freeze out the conservatives. Just like Dawn Slann, they attack "partisanship". What makes you think Slann would be anything other than another puppet for the Uniparty? Everything I see in her campaign indicates that. If Slann is not Uniparty, then she needs to start showing it. We do not need a Beaufort County version of Liz Cheney. Mr. Cratch, your use of the term "Old Guard" sticks out like a sore thumb. This was the very term that carpetbagger Ron Buzzeo, with his thick yankee accent and opposition to gun rights, used in his jihad to kick conservatives and Beaufort County natives out of the Beaufort County GOP a few years ago. Buzzeo had a few scalawags go along with his anti-conservative jihad. What do you mean by that term? Are you using it the same way Buzzeo did? I hope you have not fallen for that poison pill.

Trump had his arm twisted by McConnell to endorse McConnell's incumbents, including Tillis. The need for McConnell's cooperation to thwart Democrat attacks on Trump gave him the clout to do that. Only in races where there was no incumbent, were Trump's 2020 endorsements rock solid. For 2022, Trump is going after wayward incumbents like Murkowski in Alaska, as well. When Trump endorsed Tillis at the Trump rally that endorsement was loudly booed by the ctowd.

''Act immediately or dissolve yourself altogether" is what Zelensky told the UN on removing Russia from its permanent seat on the UN security counsel. I am pulling for option two. The UN pushes fake agendas like global warming to try to increase its power while sweeping a real crisis like the Russian invasion of Ukraine under the rug. Heck, UN staff were even directed not to call it a "war" or an "invasion". Outright dissolution of the phony baloney UN is the best option. The UN is not only worthless, but it is harmful.

If he votes for her on that vote, he has stabbed us in the back, no matter what he does in the floor vote. The tragedy in Ukraine reeks of the stench of the Bidens and their handlers. One has to look both at the corruption of Hunter Biden while the "big guy" was VP and at the way Joe has tried to make the Ukraine situation a smoke screen to hide the failings of his own presidency. Biden encouraged Putin's invasion by his public statements and failure to properly arm Ukraine to create a deterrent, and now makes strident and warlike statements to stir the pot once the invasion has occurred but fails to provide Ukraine with key arms to defend itself. Biden is playing a dangerous game that risks World War III.
Hunter Biden had corrupt dealings while Joe was VP with people close to both Putin and Xi, as well as at least one oligarch in Ukraine, and the "big guy" got a cut. It is often hard to tell if he was pushing anyone's agenda or just playing all ends against each other for his own and his family's corrupt profit. Some of his corrupt dealings in Ukraine like the bio labs he helped fund (and one wonders if Fauci's hand was also involved) worked more in Putin's interest than Ukraine's. There needs to be a Congressional investigation of the dealings of Hunter and Joe in Ukraine, Russia, and CHina. Most of the connections in the subject article are well documented except one that seems spurious, the alledged connection between Hunter Biden and Kolomoisky, that is used to try to tie Hunter to Zelensky. Business oligarchs are too much of a feature of both Russia and Ukraine, but there is one wealthy fellow in a wholy different category, Vladimir Putin, one of the richest men in the world. Unlike the oligarchs, who make their wealth by actually producing goods and services in the economy, Putin's wealth comes entirely from graft and corruption. He has been far more successful than the Bidens in corruptly turning public office into personal wealth. Of course, it is a lot easier to do that when one is a dictator. One wonders if their is some financial angle to Putin's invasion of Ukraine.

Leftie Oliver Stone produced Russian propaganda that conveniently left out a lot of the facts. What really happened in 2014 was that the brutal suppression of peaceful protests, including putting snipers on buildings to shoot unarmed protesters, led to parliament's impeachment of the pro-Russian president. Rather than face that like a man, the pro-Russian president fled to Russia the day before parliament was to vote. Most of Ukraine's gold reserves fled the country about the same time.
The Ukrainian nationalists of the Azoz Battalion are giving a good account of themselves against the Russian invaders in Mariupol. There are lots of war crimes being committed against civilians in that city, all of them by the Russians. With 1300 women and children still trapped in the drama theatre bombed by the Russians, they have now bombed an art school with 400 women and children trapped inside.
