Tillis and Burr are supporting national milage tax in their "infrastructure" bill. The bill sets up a pilot program for a tax on how many miles you drive your car or truck. This also has serious privacy implications. redstate.com

This analysis at RedState shows that only $110 billion of the $1.2 trillion is really even infrastructure as that term is usually applied. redstate.com
Tillis and Burr have sold us down the river to Biden and the Democrats. Mitch McConnell's vote for this bill should trigger his replacement as Senate GOP leader by a real Republican. By almost a 2 to 1 margin, the majority of Republican senators oppose it, as they should. McConnell is a disgrace, as are Burr and Tillis.

Commented on New Report: Climate change models are not correctThese climate alarmist models also ignore the settled science that there are long term alternating heating and cooling cycles in Earth's climate history. A particular cold one, called the "Little Ice Age" ended in the 1800s, and the planet entered a natural warming cycle. Each cycle typically lasts several hundred years. The previous natural warming cycle was known as the Medieval Warm Period, when it was warmer than today, and none of the disasters predicted by the climate alarmists happened. The longest warm cycle was the Holocene Maximum that lasted for three thousand years and was much warmer than today. It partly corresponded in human history with the Bronze Age and the golden age of the Greek city states. Greek writings reveal no disaster such as sea level rise, associated with that warming. A great film debunking the theory of manmade global warming is the British TV documentary "The Great Global Warming Swindle" broadcast nationally on the UK's Channel 4, and which can be viewed in its entirety online: www.youtube.com

Commented on New ad blasts McCrory ties to Red ChinaWait until "China Mitch" McConnell hears about this ad. The Red Chinese set up McConnell's wife and her family in the shipping business, providing the ships, cargoes, and crews. McConnell will be out there defending his fellow pro-Chinese "Republican", and besides, McConnell has already let it be known how he feels about conservatives - he says he wants "to crush them everywhere". What we really need is to elect enough conservatives to dethrone "China Mitch" from his perch as GOP Senate leader.

Commented on How the Elites control the massesThe elitist totalitarian threat today comes Klaus Schwab's World Economic Forum and its "Great Reset". Schwab has gone public with it, actually writing a book, sort of like Hitler and "Mein Kampf". One of Schwab's slogans is "You will own nothing, and you will be happy". He wants to use the Coronavirus pandemic to change the world, and it is ominous that another of his slogans "Build Back Better" has been adopted by a number of major governments, including the left wing regimes in the US and Canada. Schwab and his WEF are who host the annual Davos elitist confabs.

Lucy Inman is a gun control supporter whom Grassroots North Carolina, the atate's leading gun rights organization, has called "a very dangerous candidate". Inman is a former board member of North Carolinians Against Gun Violence, a group that supports gun control. It is not surprising that RINO writer Dallas Woodhouse rattles on with a BLM-related issue and ignores Inman's anti-gun background. Inman is a flaming leftwinger who does not belong on our Supreme Court.

As the article in the major German daily newspaper Die Welt (The World) explains it is a high fine by the standards of German courts, but hopefully if YouTube persists in censorship, they will raise the ante. I much prefer the million euro fines in the Polish legislation for Big Tech censorship. Even better would be to catch their execs on German or Polish soil and jail them for contempt of court when they defy the court and politically censor thier users.

The Pelosi Police just keep getting worse. Now it appears that they will be getting advanced military surveillance equipment from the Defense Department. The Biden controlled military is not allowed by law to spy on Americans, but they can provide the equipment and training for the Pelosi Police to do so. Unlike law enforcement agencies run by the executive branch, the Pelosi Police will not be subject to the Freedom of Information Act.

Commented on Growing evidence that Covid was intentionalThere is no question that the ChiComs deliberately exported the Wuhan coronavirus, whether or not the original escape from the lab was deliberate or not. After Covid broke out in Wuham, the Red Chinese government immediately banned travel from Wuhan to other places in China, but very importantly they did not ban international travel from Wuhan for another two months, allowing it to spread around the world. For instance the virus first appeared in Europe in the Milan region of Italy and that was due to the regular non-stop flights between Wuhan and Milan that kept operating for two months. China's deliberately circulating this virus around the world was a form of biological warfare and they should be punished for it.

This "infrastructure" bill has very little to do with infrastructure in the first place. It is a grab bag of pork barrel boondoggles, many related to the Green New Deal. What is outrageous is RINO Senators Burr and Tillis supporting it in concept. If they vote for it they need to be run out of the party on a rail. Burr has already been censured. Tillis will need at least the same treatment. Adding amnesty for illegal aliens to this witch's brew would make a truly awful bill even worse.

Commented on NC GOP solidifies conservatives' hold on the partyCarolina Journal is clueless on this one. Lets start with the vice chairman's race where longtime establishment Republican operative Susan Mills was declared the winner with 50.1% over conservative and grassroots activist Lt. Col. Sherry Lynn Womack (combat veteran with two Bronze Stars). Then there is Whatley himself, who was the establishment candidate against grassroots conservative candidate Jim Womack two years ago. Has the leopard suddenly changed his spots? Whatley was unopposed this time because he turned out to be quite successful, not because he joined the conservative wing of the party. He continues to thumb his nose at the grassroots, however, and did so at this convention in multiple ways. He asked the Rules Committee to put up draconian rules that effectively would have prevented the grassroots from being able to put up its positions at the convention. Fortunately, the convention body struck that proposed rule. Then he got others to use delaying tactics both on the convention floor and later at the Sunday state executive committee meeting to make certain that the conservative Resolutions Committee report was not addressed by either the convention or, as usually happens if the convention can't reach it, bu the state executive committee. People close to both issues confirmed that it was Whatley pushing both of those efforts to stifle the grassroots. Whatley is like Napolean, it that while he is successful, he also is very intent on having himself fully in charge of things. With Thom Tillis / Karl Rove GOP establishment hack DAllas Woodhouse now working at Carolina Journal, it is not at all suprising that they are all wet on this one.

Big League Politics has been snookered on this one, although they are usually a reliable source, and they are being played for something they think they are opposing, and that is dividing conservatives. This BLP article originally had a link to the original source of this conspiracy theory, the liberal Washington, DC correspondent for the Raleigh News and Observer, a guy named Murphy, who cited unnamed sources. That is highly suspicious in itself, but it also smacks of the smear tactics of a close associate of McCrory consultant Paul Shumaker, Dee Stewart, who often uses rumor and innuendo against opponents. The McCrory team knows that Lara Trump will skunk them as she is way ahead in the polls, and their scheme is to push a bunch of other conservatives into the race. An earlier story on this same conspiracy theory which had a link back to the Murphy post, in First in Freedom Daily was followed by a series of articles of various conservatives getting into the race, with Dallas Woodhouse being cited as the source. Woodhouse served as the front man for a Karl Rove independent expenditure effort backing Thom Tillis and worked under Robin Hayes when Hayes pulled the same scheme of splitting the conservative vote to help Tillis get the nomination. The establishment has suckered Big League Politics as well as First in Freedom Daily into doing their dirty work.
The part of the conspiracy theory that is so non-sensical that it paints the whole thing as false is the idea that a member of the Freedom Caucus like Budd would serve as a front man for the establishment, and even more non-sensical that he would run to lose, giving up his House seat. That makes absolutely no sense at all. This is all about trying to get conservatives fighting each other, and Woodhouse, Shumaker, and probably Stewart are in the thick of it, with a liberal N&O reporter as their front man. We need ONE conservative candidate and the very best one is Lara Trump.

Commented on Field shaping up in NC GOP US Senate primaryIt looks like a scandal may be brewing on establishment US Senate candidate Pat McCrory, and it is of the sexual harassment nature. Alex B. Peterson, an ABC News reporter, who was one of those who had complained about the Lincoln Project founder who had to resign in disgrace over homosexual solicitations, has publicly made a similar complaint about Pat McCrory. Peterson said when he interviewed McCrory for ABC, McCrory did not give back the small microphone he was wearing, and when Peterson asked for it back, McCrory smirked, leaned in to him and said "I was hoping you would reach into my pocket to grab it". This is the same Pat McCrory who was all over the landscape on letting men into women's restrooms and shower rooms while in office, and then came out fully on the LGBTQ side after he left office. Having a man make this type of accusation is probably much more damaging than if it came from a woman.
