From what I read here and hear from others, the school board does not want the parents or community involved in what they do, they are happy dictating and indoctrinating the children and parents and community would get in their way.
While I don't have children it concerns me when 4th graders struggle with reading simple sentences or high school "graduates" don't have a clue about how gov't works, where different counties are even what part of the world the countries are in, math skill are no where to be found without a calculator, the students do not know how to properly sign their names only how to print and that includes HS seniors. The list is endless. From what I have seen there is very little actually educating in the basics going on and that seriously needs to change. Parents must be involved in the students education for that to happen.

Sarahsn, the part of Revelation you are quoting tells about what those that are not called up in the rapture will face. The 1st 3 chapters are the warnings to the church, then the rapture and all that have overcome will be called up to meet Jesus in the sky. Those that have not overcome will face the tribulation that follows the rapture.

Children are really good at hiding things from their parents. Schools that hide things from parents are NOT to be trusted.

Since you keep saying you know so much about what goes on in the schools, I have to wonder what school you work at and how many children you have groomed and hidden the information from their PARENTS. How many of the children you have groomed have ended up with extreme mental health issues or become suicidal because of that grooming?

Past time that schools get back to teaching the basics, reading, writing, math, science and teaching children how to think and not what to think. Maybe then we could have children that are working at their grade level without having to drop the standards for grade levels yet again.

If I had children, I would do every thing I could to keep them out of the indoctrination centers that are called public schools.

IF you really think parents not seeing what children are hiding from them is worse than a parent that murders their unborn or born child, that is just sick.
