For me, as a county commissioner, every issue invariably deals with what it will cost taxpayers, and is that cost essential to our survival.
While Illegal Immigration is NOW the second largest cost to Beaufort County taxpayers, with the Biden /Harris Open Southern Border and Resettlement Project in perpetual overdrive, this terrible Democratic Socialist initiative to remake our society, our Constitutional republic into something unrecognizable, will eventually make Beaufort County a "Border County," and it will not take too many years before this enormous self-inflicted mammoth expense will become Beaufort County's largest cost to all Beaufort County taxpayers, irrespective of their heritage. This knowledge can be simply derived by performing simple math, and by knowing the essence of this issue - the unwavering variables. Knowing this issue as well as I do now after dealing with it for the last couple of decades while I have served as a Rightly concerned Beaufort County commissioner, I will never stop advocating for all three levels of government to do what is Right in defending our sovereign borders ... remembering ... 'All politics, all governing is local.' Why other less knowledgeable politicians, and their constituents, cannot grasp the dire nature of this inescapable mega issue is a pure wonder to me.

This is insane: Not only is this man an Authoritarian, an Autocrat, he has never met a constitution that he would enforce; perfect for the non patriot party of the Democratic Socialists.
Additionally, I am not convinced that he actually was fully elected in the 2020 General Election.

While doing what is prudent by being outstanding stewards of this big blue rock is paramount, turning the political element of moving the People to stewardship should never be a religion, and certainly not one of Leftist hypocrites.
"Saving the Planet" can be done on a fraction of the cost proposed by the fools who wish to remake US into Socialist Slaves, but can be done in a "sustainable" manner by: recycling everything; limit excessive packaging; protect the oceans; and grow far more stuff - trees, flowering bushes and food. It is that simple.

This is a fine piece of writing by the Beaufort Observer team, chock full of real data, and color me partial, but this story of what is real and needs to be told again and again until people wake up and then realize, this is where we lose this Republic by becoming a nation without laws, where cities are unsafe, and our society is without structure and accountability.
It is still not too late for our nation's salvation, and as long as I am a Beaufort County Commissioner, I will seek the truth and I will advocate that all laws at all levels of governing be followed and enforced.

As someone who has spent nearly 22 years on county commissioners governing board /30 years active in the political machinations of knowing the confluence of Democrats /Socialists and RINOs far too well, the specter of "Grima Wormtongue" has come to mind on many occasions.

While we may laugh at the stupidity of these Democratic Socialist states, led by some of the most ignorant politicians ever, we, constitutionally, can do nothing to stop them.

Today, we are suffering from Bidenflation approaching an estimated 10% because of Democratic Socialist policies regarding Covid, and shutting down of the Fossil Fuels Industry, with absolutely NO oversight on Fraud and waste. My advice to the Democratic Socialists: Better get this additional waste done NOW, because as soon as Republican majority in congress takes over control, there will be renewed focus regarding the oversight of the Fraud and waste that is rampant in these current times.

There are two monumental take-aways from the story of this post:
1. One more reason to have an incredible appreciation for the wisdom of Judge Clarence Thomas; he had a fine knowledge of the qualities of this woman who became his wife. 2. Give non patriot Democratic Socialists enough rope, and they will hang themselves above a hill built of pathetic stupidity, and then they will hang themselves there until they drop down onto it, and, immediately, one cannot discern their lifeless corpses from the stinking soil.

Your hypothesis is correct: Our centers of learning are, and have been our greatest failings for three main reasons: 1) The amount of money spent - public and otherwise; 2) Lost opportunity for the student utterly failed; 3) The amount of propagandistic damage done to the community at large, making a graduated student functionally more stupid than when they went off to school to learn what is helpful and real.
I am wondering when the lawsuits will begin, and who will pay. Probably never, but damage has been greatly done to us not only independently, but as a community.
