Because of this goal, surrogate representatives of states are invited to come to Belhaven at 8:30 AM on Monday June 1 to walk the first mile. If you live in this area and are native of another state, you may represent your state by walking only the first mile. You may also represent a state that is not able to send a representative. Call 252-943-3055 for additional information and to order your T-shirt. If you want a T-shirt, the cost is $15.00. A T-shirt is not required to represent a state by walking. WAIT A MINUTE FOLKS --- A new Clinic is being built right now beside the Food Lion in Belhaven. The old hospital has compromised hygiene from flooding and would have to be razed for a new one costing as much or far more than the Clinic Vidant is building.

In my view, worshiping a building over providing adequate healthcare to Hyde and eastern Beaufort County is the main concern. Adam enjoys the lights and camera, but is he becoming a white Jesse Jackson???

I can't answer that question. All I DO KNOW is SOLVE THE PROBLEM rather than make a big hike for no real purpose of Belhaven. If NC would take the federal funds they have flatly refused, then RURAL HEALTHCARE issues could be solved NOW!

Raleigh is a whole lot closer than DC, Adam . . .
