Press from Beaufort County Manager Randell Woodruff

Publisher's note: I received this communication from my Beaufort County manager, Randell Woodruff, and I make mention of this because, if not for Randell, I would not have had this information. This has to be the poorest communicated Candidates' Forum that I have been made aware of, since I jumped into the political game back in 1992 as a Republican activist.

Over the weekend, I asked Beaufort Observer Editor Delma Blinson had he any knowledge of the event, and remarkably, he had received no information as well.

Remarkable, in as much as Beaufort County NOW and the Beaufort Observer record more daily Internet traffic than any other two sites, originating from Beaufort County, combined.

The Beaufort County Candidate Forum is tomorrow night (Tuesday, October 16th) at 6:30pm at BCCC's Building 8 Auditorium. This is a great way to learn more about where the candidates stand on important issues. We will be taking one question from the audience for each race. We encourage you to attend as our future leaders are very important to our County. It is free to the public. The Chamber along with Washington Daily News are sponsoring the Forum. For more information please contact either entity. - Randell Woodbruff,    Beaufort County manager
