I have been a Trump fan since 2016 on immigration, but I think I am now becoming an even bigger deSantis fan. The idea of delegating immigration enforcement powers to states is a great idea. We have a whole lot of deportation we need to do, and letting the states help in that is a masterstroke.

All one has to do is compare the numbers of illegal aliens who were getting in under Trump and the massive flood under Biden. THere is a huge difference. Also, under Trump, we had border enforcement, while it is a swinging door under Biden.

What we need is to look at what other countries are doing. Push illegal aliens back over the border as is now the law in Latvia. Use firearms and even pull the triggers as necessary as Greece and Hungary have done. Use water cannon like Poland. BUILD A WALL like many countries. Do not accept asylum claims from safe countries, like a number of European countries are enforcing. Deposit the illegal aliens for safekeeping in another country where the illegals do not want to be as Australia has done by depositing them in New Guinea and the UK is in the process of doing to deposit them in Uganda. There is lots we could do that we are not. Heck Botswana even built their border fence so they could run a lethal dose of electricity through it. The fact that they could at any time has made that fence a huge deterrant without ever having to actually turn on the juice.

School choice is a hot issue for two very good reasons, 1) government schools are not doing a very good job in education and people want a choice of something better, and 2) during Covid, parents learning how much leftwing political indoctrination there is in the government schools and want to send their children to schools that do not do that. As the military would say, the government schools have crapped in their mess kit, and they now must pay the price for that.

Latvia and Lithuania are also quite strict on immigration. Latvia passed legislation putting "push back" authorization into their immigration laws, directing border police to push illegal aliens who have already crossed the border back across the border out of Latvia, and similar legislation is advancing in Finland and Lithuania. Italy has put major restrictions on the migrant "rescue" ships and recently seized two of them that violated those restrictions.

Germany has a very dire situation with illegal immigration and their country being overrun by illegal aliens, a large number of whom are on welfare. It is not surprising that the German people are turning to a party which wants to put a stop to that. It is to be hoped that the traditional right will learn to work with the populist rights as they have in Austria, Switzerland, Italy, Spain, Denmark, Norway, and Sweden to put a stop to this national suicide.

MS13 is a very violent criminal gang whose trademark way of killing people is to hack them to death with a machete. They are already established all over the United States and often use the "unaccompanied minor" loophole to bring in their thugs. Their native country, El Salvador is engaged in a mass crackdown on crininal gangs at home, so expect a lot more of these MS13 thugs to be headed this way with Biden putting out the welcome map.

It is bad enough when illegal aliens demand cultural changes in western countries, but when globalists among our own citizens try to destroy our history, that is a low blow.

While French president Macron is a worm on many things, he did get preservation of history right. When the French branch of BLM started demanding removal of history, Macron went on nationwide TV and announced that no one would be erased from French history and no monuments would be removed. When BLM decided to attack a monument in Paris they didn't like, Macron sent a heavy police detail to defend it and arrest the attackers, who were then charged with major crimes, convicted, and jailed. That put an end to the attacks on mounuments.

The rise in Welfare among immigrants generally was even documented 30 years ago in a scholarly article from Harward Univeristy, noting a very sharp rise from the 1970 census to the 1990 census. scholar.harvard.edu

It has undoubtedly grown even more since then, but they no longer put the citizenship question on the census to get the data. Trump tried to get it back on but was bushwhacked on that by Biden.

This is just another reason we need to end birthright citizenship and do like European countries and base citizenship on the nationality of the parents.

The problem in Germany with knife crime, as it is in the UK, is primarily with illegal alien migrants. What they really need is border control.

The same is true in the US. There was a recent shooting by an illegal alien in Texas, who had been deported four times of five of his illegal alien neighbors. Again the issue is border control. In the most recent shooting at that mall in Texas, it looks like it may be another illegal alien situation. The parents of the shooter asked for a translator, which strongly suggests they are likely illegal aliens. The shooter himself may be an anchor baby but also may be a DACA illegal alien or just an illegal alien period.

The growing percentage of illegal aliens among our prison population is another aspect of illegal immigration that the MSM ignores. Someone who arrogantly breaks our immigration laws is not going to think twice about breaking other laws, too. Guns are no always their weapon of choice. The extremely violent El Salvador criminal gang MS13 has made hacking people to death with machetes their trademark, for example. MS13 is now all over the country, including in North Carolina. They are particularly well estabished in Virginia.

This is going on all over the country. In North Carolina, a voter integrity group obtained a list of people who had been released from jury duty because they were not citizens and compated it to the county voter registration. They found huncreds of those non-citizens registered to vote in the county and dozens of them who had actually voted. The Democrat run county board of elections refused to do anything about it.

The "unaccompanied minor" loophole is one that needs to be closed both here and in Europe. Illegal aliens lie to take advantage of the easier process of unaccompanied minors. The US does not even do any objective test on that issue. Of those who actually are minors, way too many are teenage gangsters imported by ectremely violent foreign crime gangs like MS13. The US is even letting in "unacommompanied minors" who are covered with MS13 tattoos. And there are lots of other scams going on with this loophole.
