Dale Folwell is a breath of fresh air. He is taking on this ESG monster and one of its worst practictioners, Larry Fink (who has a very apt last name). I look forward to Folwell running for and being elected our governor in 2024.

So the big spender anti-taxpayer coalition rides again. Disgusting. Frankie Waters is a puppet on a string to Jerry Langley and our liberal big-spending county manager. One could say they are spending like drunken sailors, but at least drunken sailors are spending their own money, not that of the taxpayers. Watch them try to mortgage our county to the hilt for their unneeded big new jail.

mitch McConnell is an absolute disaster. He connives with the liberals, including Obama and Biden and attacks conservatives every chance he gets. GOP senators needed to ditch Tax Hike Mitch as leader but they sorely failed our taxpayers and Republican voters. Mitch McConnell and his turncoat leadership is why we do not have a Republican senate majority right now. We all know Thom Tillis is just as big a traitor as McConnell, but I was appalled that Ted Budd did not join the conservatives in pushing to get rid of McConnell.

Climate alarmism is the biggest doomsday cult in history; a Chicken Little mentality on steroids. It needs a stake driven through its heart.

Electric buses are downright dangerous. One had its huge lithium battery spontaneously combust in Connecticut, burning up the bus, and Connecticut took all such buses off the road. Paris had three electric buses spontaneously combust and burn up, the last one while out of service on a busy public street where there was lots of video of it. They also took their electric buses out of service. So far, there have been no passengers or staff on board when these buses went up in flames, but watching the Paris videos, the fire moved so rapidly that if there had been most of them would have been dead. Roy Cooper is a climate crazy who is trying to push that wacky doctrine on our state.

Can we get Frankie Waters to resign as a commissioner, too? Maybe then some of this stupid spending the county has been doing will end and we can get our taxes down.

This new pagan religious cult, a kind of Gaia worship, should be called Climate Scientology. It worships a flawed doomsday theory promoted by a group of dishonest scientists seeking fame, fortune, and power and followed by sleazy politicians who seem the same. The climategate email dump exposed them for the frauds they are - "hide the decline" - but the leftie media is still entralled with them.

Sam Bankman-Fried is the new Bernie Madoff, and like Madoff, he is a Democrat contributor and even a much bigger one, sedond largest Democrat contributor this election year, and now it is clear that was with stolen money. What also needs to be investigated is the role of another crypto company, Binance, in keeping this under the radar until after the election, a clearly partisan move. When FTX reached the point of collapse weeks ago, which would have been a pre-election disaster for Democrats, Binance came forward and talked about buying FTX to rescue it. FTX was a Ponzi scheme train wreck and that was never going to happen, but it staved off the explosion until after the election. Then several days after the election, Binance said "never mind".

Pitt County had a school board disaster, with two ultra-woke far-left radicals winning seats. Conservatives were asleep at the switch there. I am very happy about our school board results here, and I loved the radio ad of the conservative school board team.

Frankie Waters is a Backwater Biden. He likes to spend other peoples money to try to buy votes. I hope the voters are smart enough to turn him out this election.

What is even more interesting is that the German Finance Minister has called for allowing fracking to allow Germany to get more gas. Finance Minister Christian Lindner is a member of the only right of center party, the Free Democrats (FPD) in the present coalition. His party was just wiped out in the state election in the important state of Lower Saxony due to its national alignment with the leftist coalition government. Lindner seems to be wanting to put some daylight between the FDP and its coalition partners, the Social Democrats and Greens. The latter, however, would probably rather have Germans freeze than to allow fracking. www.breitbart.com

Perry's role in forcing the NC Green New Deal down our throats is reason enough to throw the bum out, but his pushing the Obamacare Medicaid expansion is almost as bad. With "Republicans" like Jim Perry, who even needs Democrats? I like the idea of expressing my disgust with Perry by writing in Bill Cook, who was always dependable in voting for the taxpayers, and wish I had heard about it before I voted.

Gaskins' politics are bad news, and reason enough NOT to vote for Rogerson, but he is not the only lefty behind Rogerson. So is the New Jail mafia that wants to spend many millions on a totally unnecessary new jail. I think Gaskins may be a part of that, too. Jerry Langley, the godfather of the new jail movement is backing Rogerson, as is Langley's sidekick on the commission, Ed Booth. So is RINO jail advocate and Langley ally Frankie Waters. Electing Rogerson would be an expensive endeavor for Beaufort County taxpayers.

What does Frankie Waters think he is? The best politician that MONEY CAN BUY? Listening to the video tape of the candidate forum it is very clear that Frankie Waters stated he did not owe conservatives anything because they had not paid him any money. It would be interesting to go back and track who benefited from Waters' votes and how much they paid him.

BCCC has students from several other counties around us. Will Beaufort County be paying their tuition and fees? Will their own county be doing it? Or will they have to pay it themselves? Beaufort County taxpayers should not be on the hook for any of this, but it becomes even worse if they are not even Beaufort County citizens. If a BCCC student comes from Hyde or Washington County, for example, who pays for their tuition and fees?

With illegal aliens, FAFSA covers "qualified non-citizens" and that includes those seeking asylum, which includes a huge percentage of illegal aliens coming into this country. They are taught to claim asylum even though very few of them will actually qualify for it if they show up in court. Most of them know that, too, and never show up for court.

Who besides bona fide Beaufort County citizens can get this "free" tuition? The Frankie Waters majority hung the taxpayers out to dry on that one.

This is indeed Bernie Sanders socialist plan implemented in Beaufort County. We knew Frankie Waters was a spendthrift. He always has been with the taxpayers' money. But to embrace Bernie Sanders' socialism is a new low for him. I am very surprised and shocked however at Randy Walker voting for this Sander's socialism. I had expected better from him.

The only two commissioners willing to stand up against Bernie Sanders socialism appear to be Stan Deatherage and Hood Richardson. They called this scheme out for what it is, socialism.

Sooo! Mr. Loope stated something was a policy that in fact is at present only a PROPOSED policy, not yet approved by the Board of Trustees. I hope they approve it to keep our tax money from going to illegal aliens.

It looks like the college is doing something the county commissioners should have done. They left the barn door wide open for the money to go to illegal aliens. They did it knowingly and with one of the governing coalition members openly stating he wanted the money to go to illegal aliens.

But there is a bigger issue here. "Make college free" is a national policy objective of the left wing of the Democrat Party. Why in the world is a supposedly Republican majority on our county commission carrying out a national leftwing Democrat policy objective? Beaufort Promise is something AOC or Bernie Sanders could have produced.
Commented: Tuesday, October 11th, 2022 @ 7:29 am By: Concerned Taxpayer
The video of the commissioners meeting is clear. The budget does NOT restrict that free tuition money to US citizens. That issue is left up to the community college, and the president of the community college had told the commissioners he wanted to fund tuition for illegal aliens. One of the Democrats on the commission majority openly said he supported that and the rest of the majority did not care. Only conservatives Deatherage and Richardson expressed concern about Beaufort County taxpayers money being used to pay for illegal aliens. Most of the discussion on that issue happened about ten or more minutes into the video. The video shows that five of our commissioners knowingly facilitated use of our county taxpayers money to fund tuition for illegal aliens at the community college. Shame on them.

Germany, which is obsessed with wind and solar has the higher electric rates not only in Europe but in the world and has for some time. Poland is the other end of the scale with little wind or solar and a lot of coal power, and they are the cheapest. Why do morons Roy Cooper, Phil Berger, and Tim Moore think we NC electric ratepayers want their expensive wind and solar they are ramming down our throats?
Commented: Friday, October 7th, 2022 @ 9:01 am By: Concerned Taxpayer
Spendthrift Frankie Waters lied to the voters of Beaufort County in his first election by pledging to oppose building a new jail. He is a big spender and a Democrat-in-Drag. Waters first choice would be to borrow the money without voter approval if he could get away with it. I do not believe they have time to set up a bond referendum for November.

Just watch the slaughter of NC's sea birds if Cooper gets his offshore wind turbines built. RINOs Phil Berger, Tim Moore, and Jim Perry also have their fingerprints on that monstrosity.

Rev. Wortman's religious background may mean she sees conservatism only through the lens of social issue conservatism. She may not comprehend what a fiscal conservative is. She clearly does not understand the conservative approach to taxing and spending.

On our present county commission, we only have two strong fiscal conservatives, Stan Deatherage and Hood Richardson. On the other end of the spectrum are the three spendthrifts who vote in lockstep to keep taxes high with their overspending - Frankie Waters, Ed Booth, and Jerry Langley. They are three peas in a left wing pod on spending. The other two commissioners vacillate back and forth on spending issues, sometimes voting as fiscal conservatives and sometimes as spendthrifts.

Longtime Republican Congressman Walter Jones was mentioned earlier, and he was cut from the same cloth on budget votes as Deatherage and Richardson. In representing our district, he was a very strong fiscal conservative, and he routinely voted against any budget that overspent, and that was almost every budget. There were times that RINO Speaker Boehner would do a budget deal with Obama and twist arms of Republicans to vote for it, but Walter Jones always said NO and voted for the taxpayers, not the swamp. Deatherage and Richardson have the same backbone on spending issues. We need more like them. Hopefully Tandy Dunn will put spendthrift Frankie Waters out to pasture.

Why has Locke switched sides on NC's Green New Deal??? Who has bought them off??? HB951 is far more radicial than the EU's Green Deal which was causing European electric rates to skyrocket well before the Ukraine crisis. HB951 is climate alarmism run amok. Locke used to present good sense on this issue, but now they are in league with Biden. Are they just trying to protect RINOs Phil Berger and Tim Moore who are responsible for this nonsense? Is Locke now run by establishment hacks instead of conservatives?

Conservative policy outcomes? They left out the Green New Deal, the RINOs in the General Assembly imposed on us, a huge shift to the left that will cost our electric ratepayers a bundle. They left out their attempt to give us the Obamacare Medicaid expansion. They left out the RINOs caving in to those who think men should be allowed in womens' restrooms and shower rooms. They left out the RINOs screwing up our election laws. They left out Tim Moore's spineless refusal to let the Parents Bill of Rights go to a vote. Conservatives can do A LOT better in the General Assembly.

Frankie Waters has been a phony from day one. He is a big spender and big taxer, or in other words a Democrat. He lied about his positions on issues to get elected the first time, plus his silly "zip code" argument. It is all too plausible that he was recruited by the Democrats to run as a false flag candidate. There is not a dimes worth of difference between Waters and Langley.

Glad to see Tucker laying this out. Too many conservatives are afraid to challenge this climate nonsense. Heck, we have RINO leaders in the NC General Assembly, Tim Moore and Phil Berger who are in bed with these lefties. So is the "conservative" prime minister of the Netherlands.

Who will be our champion to push for cheap and reliable energy here in the US? President Trump certainly would be at the national level, but who in North Carolina? Phil Berger and Tim Moore have sold out to the Net Zero enemy on energy. Maybe Mark Robinson?

The UK is to be commended for its U-turn away from Boris Johnson's climate crazy madness.

Jim Perry does not seem to care what the "little people" think. He is all about the special interests. I read on another site that a delegation of party activists from Craven County went to Perry's office to ask him to vote against the Obamacare Medicaid expansion and part of what Perry told them was "I don't represent you." Craven County IS within Perry's new district, so that comment was apparently NOT based on geography but upon his distain for those who work in the GOP. The idea of writing in someone else on the Libertarian line on the November ballot is a good one.

NC's HB951 will definitely cost NC electric ratepayers money, not only from the fact that wind and solar electricity costs more than conventional electricity, but also from the fact that the bill allows Duke Energy to prematurely close coal burning electric plants and add the cost of their premature closure to consumers' power bills. Woke Duke Energy wanted out of the coal business and now the legislature is making customers pay for having that woke corporate wish come true. Duke's ESG preening will cost their customers some serious green.

One wonders how much Phil Berger and Tim Moore were paid off to be nothing but operatives of Duke Energy and the wind and solar bandits. They have screwed electric customers to the wall. They are no different than those hard left Democrat legislators in Virginia.
