Hopefully, Virginia will disentangle themselves from the schemes of the Climate-Industrial complex. Otherwise, their electric ratepayers and likely their taxpayers will get skewered. Radical Democrats did it to Virginia, but establishment Republicans did the very same thing to us in NC, and that is completely disgusting. Getting NC out of this mousetrap is going to be problematic, because we have a Green New Deal lefty governor, and too many Green New Deal legislators, most all of the Democrats and way too many who CLAIM to be "Republican". Germany's wind and solar is well below 50% and they are paying three times what NC pays in residential electric rates. What will this idiotic 70% wind and solar do to NC electric rates? I cringe to think of it. The phony "Republicans" responsible for it should hang their heads in shame. Why bother with a GOP majority when they just adopt the policies of AOC and Joe Biden?

This tax increase is part of Biden's War on the Middle Class. Bidenflation is another part of it. So are the measures he took to deliberately raise our gas prices. Of course, our own NC RINOs went along with their Green New Deal HB951 which will give NC huge electric rate increases in the coming years. Between Democrats and RINOs, the middle class is in real trouble.

This is nothing other than the Green New Deal. Other countries that have gone this route have found that wind and solar are NOT reliable due to the intermittent nature of both, and they are certainly not cheap. Pushing wind and solar is why Germans pay three times the residential rates for electricity that North Carolinians do now. A recent contract for offshore wind electricity signed by a utility in New York set whole prices for that electricity at four and a half times the prevailing wholesale rate for conventional electricity.

The Republican legislative leaders who sold North Carolina electric customers down the river on this bill need to be primaried out of office.

Cooper is little more than a flunky of the Climate-Industrial Complex and will parrot whatever their narrative happens to be. Electric cars are in fact dangerous. GM recalled every Chevy Bolt that has been built because of their propensity to have their lithium batteries spontaneously combust. They advised customers who choose to keep their cars to park them at least 50 feet from any occupied building or any other car. Teslas are also known to spontaneously combust but don't expect them to do any recalls on that as it would kill their whole business. Lithium smoke is highly toxic and every injury from a Chevy Bolt fire has been from breathing the smoke of the lithium battery fire. Every time you board an aircraft, you are asked if you are carrying any lithium batteries, as they are not allowed on planes due to the nature of even small lithium batteries to spontaneously combust. A passenger plane went down in the Florida Everglades some years ago, killing all aboard, when lithium batteries carried as cargo spontaneously combusted in flight. So why would we want a very big lithium battery parked beside our house or in our garage? Let Comrade Cooper park one by his house (his private house that is; I would hate to see the governor's mansion go up in flames).

It is really too bad that the RINO leadership in the NC legislature does not comprehend what is presented in this video. They just brown nosed Roy Cooper, AOC, and Greta Thunberg to cram NC's very own Green New Deal down our throats. US Senate Republicans are fighting back against Mitch McConnell's cave in and betrayal on the debt limit. Ted Cruz, conservative, and Lindsay Graham, moderate, were both on Hannity this afternoon and they are working to get rank and file GOP US Senators to stand up to McConnell and not cave in to the Democrats. Hannity made a key point that this betrayal shows that we need new GOP Senate leadership. McConnell is just not acceptable. Raising the debt limit is all above passing the monstrous $3.5 Trillion Green New Deal bill.

Speaking of Green New Deals, we desperately need our NC legislators to fight back against our sell out "leadership" in the legislature that is trying to surrender to Roy Cooper on his ripoff Green New Deal for North Carolina. Any GOP legislator who votes for H951 needs to be tarred and feathered and run out of the party on a rail.

Back to McConnell, he is just doing the business of Communist China. The ChiComs set his wife and father in law up in the shipping business, providing the ships, crews, and cargos that have made them a lot of money. China wants the US and its economy hamstrung with expensive and unreliable wind and solar, for which they make the equipment, while the ChiComs use cheap and reliable coal fired power plants, of which they currently have hundreds under construction. McConnell is just following orders from Beijing.

I'd bet if someone really searched, they would find China connections to Tim Moore and Phil Berger, too.

AOC's Chief of Staff admitted that the Green New Deal is about building socialism, not about the environment. We will see how many undercover socialists we have in the GOP legislative caucus when they vote on whether to build socialism through HB951. Europe is already getting hit hard by bowing to Greta Thunberg's socialism there, and the hits to citizens have just started. Conservatives may have a lot of work to do in the primaries in NC, but lets keep our fingers crossed that most of the Republican legislators wise up on this disaster before it is too late.

Since Duke Power has shown itself to be thoroughgoing leftists, one good solution is to allow competition in electric providers in NC.

Parents should demand that their local school boards cut all ties with this fascist organization that wants to ideologically indoctrinate students. Starve the beast. Cut their membership income. According to the Gateway Pundit the entire bill is $1.2 Billion, of which $550 million is actual infrastructure and $650 million is Democrat pet projects. That Tillis and Burr voted for this far left pork barrel is appalling. Since the details of exactly what is being funded are still hidden, even from the lousy senators who just voted to let it go forward, some of the infratstructure portion may also be pork barrel and pet projects. Every RINO who voted for this crap sandwich needs a primary. To make matters even worse, this is just the beginning. Democrats have an even bigger spending bill that they plan to use "reconciliation" to muscle through that spends even more. With Democrats spending like drunken sailors and RINOs letting them do it, inflation may make the US dollar about as worthless as the Zimbabwe dollar.
