Jesse Helms was once a Democrat, but North Carolina has never had a better and more dependable Repubican US Senator. John East was a lifelong Republican, and would be second best. THird would be Lauch Faircloth who was once a Democrat. What matters is following Republican principles, not being a Republican in name only. Too many opportunist Democrats see they can't get elected as a Democrat, so they go undercover as a fake Republican but have never changed their Democrat ideology. That is what Frankie Waters did. He is still functionally a Democrat but masquerades as a Republican. He is a fraud and always has been. On the other hand, there are conservatives who find that as the Democrats have galloped left, the Democrat Party no longer represented their principles. Principles are what matter. There have been actual conservative Democrat elected officials not that long ago. Walter Jones was a conservative Democrat state legislator and then became a great conservative Republican congressman.

BTW, what is a "CommunistyAdvocate"??? Is that, perhaps, akin to a community organizer?

Mitch McConnell seems to be a reincarnation of Benedict Arnold, trying to hurt Republicans and particularly conservatives every way he can. Turning the political propagandists of the MSM into government subsidized creatures is an attack on freedom of speech, as is treating the leftie media different from the conservative media. Mitch McConnell is as evil as Nancy Pelosi. So are his RINO supporters in the GOP Senate caucus like Thom Tillis. Like many conservatives, I will never ever hold my nose for Tillis ever again, no matter who he is running against. I regret doing it in the past.

Thom Tillis is a disgrace. Many who made the mistake of holding their nose to vote for him in the past will NEVER do it again. Tillis is an embarassment to North Carolina. Tillis has attended gaystapo fundraisers and pushed to repeal NC's bathroom privacy laws. One really wonders which bathroom and what pronouns this skunk uses himself. JUST SAY NO TO THOM TILLIS.

In addition to being a RINO who deliberately hurts Republicans, especially conservatives, Mitch McConnell is a stooge for communist China. McConnell and his ethnic Chinese wife visited China, and the Chinese communist government gifted her and her father with a shipping company. The Chinese government supplies the ships, cargoes, and crews, and the McConnell family rakes in the cash. This is totally corrupt, and makes McConnell a foreign agent for one of our biggest enemies. It is disgraceful that he is GOP leader in the Senate. He should be tarred and feathered and ridden out of Senate leadership on a rail.

We need a sheriff who will defend our gun rights, and Scott Hammonds is the only one we can count on for that. Rogerson had a big sign for gun grabber Supreme Court candidate Lucy Inman right beside his tent at the Board of Elections in a truck owned by his main money man the first week of the campaign. Then he moved the sign for the gun grabber across from his tent but still with a Rogerson sign on the tailgate. At best, Rogerson is indifferent to gun rights. He would not be a Constitutional sheriff. He would be a typical Democrat sheriff. It has been Republican sheriffs around the country who have been standing up for gun rights, NOT Democrats.

One RINO who needs to be gone is Frankie Waters. Waters is a Democrat in Republican clothing and has been since he switched parties just before running for commissioner. Waters has been a puppet on a string for Jerry Langley for years and is now going further to stab the GOP in the back by helping Rogerson. Waters is a collaborator with the Democrats and needs to be run out of office this election. Langley and Rogerson are both liberals, as Waters fundamentally is himself.

There has always been the Tom Boy phase with some girls, for example. We probably all knew some of them growing up. They liked to do things boys did, but did not consider themselves boys. When they reached puberty, they became feminine girls. These days, the schools would probably be pushing them to call themselves "transgender", use other pronouns and names, and wrecking their futures.

The school board memver we are going to have to watch is Terry Williams. He could be a RINO or a patriot on the new school board. He seems to think the right way on a lot of things, but the question is, does he have the courage to stand up to the school bureaucracy or will he be a go along, get along politician.

Another article on the BO pointed out that some local Republicans have chummed up with liberal Democrat Rogerson like RINOs Frankie Waters and Pat Varcoe. Frankie Waters has been a Democrat ally as long as he has claimed to be a fake Republican, so that is not surprising. Varcoe claims to be a party officer but another article on here showed he was the one who was responsible for sending most of the party's money out of the county where it would not help local candidates. Why he did so is now becoming apparent. He is trying to sabotage local GOP candidates.

There was a comment on here earlier about a male student at Chocowinity High School who arrives every morning dressed as a boy and the school facilitates his dressing as a girl to attend school and then resume dressing as a boy to go home, hiding all of this from his parents. That is appalling for the school to do. Who approved that?

It looks like "woke" is in our schools whatever Chesseman says publicly, and we need to change that.

Frankie Waters should do the honorable thing and follow Kelly Cox out the door. Cox was obviously promised something, and the rumor is the position of Chief Deputy, for his treachery. What did Waters get out of his? Was it just to satisfy his sore loser chip on his shoulder over his boy Coleman losing the primary? Whatever the party brass does or does not do with Waters, the voters need to remove him from the county commission on Nov. 8. He has been a RINO colluding with Democrats his whole time as county commissioner. Getting Waters off the county commission is far more important than whether he stays on the party committee or not.

A Bill Gates contribution is the mark of the beast as much as a George Soros contribution. This is mostly a list of RINOs, not real Republicans. Congressman Dan Newhouse was defeated by a conservative in his primary. Some of the senators are not up for election this cycle, but Gates probably contributed to help buy them on some legislation. Mitt Romney is a real scumbag who is refusing to endorsement the other Republican senator in his state, Sen. Mike Lee for reelection this fall, Lee is a conservative.

The media is trying to "disappear" this scandal, and they are not the only ones. When Commissioner Richardson tried to get the county commission to look into the county money involved at the last county commission meeting, he ran into a buzzsaw from the Jerry Langley - Frankie Waters coalition which wanted desperately to bury the issue. They actually said the county should not be trying to find out what happened to the county taxpayer dollars involved. Why do we have this political corruption on our county commission? Is it because of the perp's relationship to a former county commissioner? The Langley - Waters group are horrible stewards of the taxpayers money.

This scandal should not be a flash in the pan, with limited information to the public, and then made to disappear. Lots of taxpayer money, as well as other money, is missing.

Donna, I had the mistaken impression you were a conservative, but your comment opened my eyes. The biggest RINO on the county commission is Frankie Waters, a longtime Democrat who was apparently recruited to switch parties just before his first election and run as a fake Republican in what the Democrats call their "super sleepers". He has voted like a Democrat ever since he has been on the commission. Real Republicans do not vote for a budget that overspends and / or overtaxes whether it is in Washington, DC, Raleigh, or here. Walter Jones was a great conservative in Congress who made it his trademark to vote against bad budgets, even upsetting RINO House leadership to do so.

There is little doubt that Frankie Waters is a secret sleeper recruited by the Democrats. He kept supporting some Democrats even after he started running as an on-paper Republican. He was a false flag candidate in another sense as well, as he claimed to be against wasting taxpayer money on an unneeded big new jail, but it turned out he was really secretly for it, and still is today. Given that the big new jail was always Jerry Langley's wet dream and the close alliance of Waters and Langley on the county commission, it is likely that Langley was the Democrat who recruited Frankie Waters as a secret sleeper.

This article and its local connection needs to get out. We need to put this out on things like Facebook pages.

Waters is worse than a RINO. He is a fake Republican, a Democrat secret sleeper.
