If/when they do this the states must act quickly. Whatever states that are still free must immediately work to repeal the 17th Amendment and nullify everything coming from this present U.S. Government. What is being birthed in Pelosi's House and Schumer's Senate is a power grab of such monumental proportions that our free country will be destroyed and re-formed into a monstrous and grotesque vessel of perpetual corruption. Anyone supporting H.R.1 is a perverted enemy of freedom and is in direct conflict with all vestiges of a free republic and a free people. Facing such evil make these the times that try men's souls.

They gave an oath to protect and defend our constitutions. Put up or shut up.

I wish I could get my money and my vote back every time I've been burned by a fraudulent candidate that transformed his/her position once in office. I wish I had sued party entities for committing fraudulent advertising on a number of occasions for standing behind candidates that do not remotely resemble the party platform (I think there was some such suit in Virginia not long ago).

In the 2020 elections there were many outright departures from constitutional election law in a variety of states - including North Carolina. Nobody can dispute that. In making the list of all that must be fixed, honest elections has to be first in line. If we don't fix that we are done. Legislators better fight like hell for their constitutional powers rather than surrender them with little more than a pathetic whimper.

All citizens should agree on the importance of election integrity no matter their party affiliation. Those that do not value election integrity are enemies of everything good our country was built on and are on a willful mission to destroy credible representative government and our way of life. This cannot be allowed.

It's really not too much to expect that we have credible elections and credible political parties. In fact we the people have got to demand it.

It's a fact. Republicans Mitch McConnell and Elaine Chao are just as much in bed with the Communist Chinese as Democrats Biden, Pelosi, Feinstein, Boxer, Swalwell, American Big Tech moguls like Bezos and and others, along with various corporations including sports like the National Basketball Association. Yes. America is being conquered from the inside out.

I'm having a hard time digesting a situation where fellow Republicans think it's alright for China Mitch to serve as Senate Republican Leader. This kind of scenario really makes me question whether the GOP is viable or fixable. As it is should it just be shunned entirely?

If there are any pockets of patriots left in the GOP (I know many have already left), then they must make a last ditch push to reform the party. If that effort fails or fails to materialize, patriots need to shun it every bit as much as the Socialist/Democrat Party. We don't have the luxury of wasting more time on this. Our country is at stake.

The President Select is now the de facto president. The Sniff and Blow Administration is official.

Now that the new administration is hard at work erasing our history and replacing it with an alternate history maybe they might consider placing a portrait of their sugar daddy CCP Chairman Xi Jinping in the White House. But it's not just portraits and busts being replaced. For example, the 1776 Commission Page was scrubbed from the White House website just minutes after Biden took office.

When you think about it, in a way Joe Biden didn't entirely lie about ANTIFA being an idea. Of course it is much more than just an idea; it is an arm for action. He did lie about that. But as an idea, it is a conception in the minds of Biden, Harris and pretty much all of the present day Democrat Party.

The war on American history continues. The war on America continues.

There's so much material that could be dealt with in this.

Maybe we should begin with one aspect of it. Just what is the criteria in the post Obama pentagon and present day Department of Justice for someone being labeled a white supremacist or other far-right extremist?

During the last four years or more millions of us have been painted with that brush just for disagreeing with the unconstitutional anti-American globalist positions of the far left. How that makes people without a racist bone in their body racist is beyond me. What it is in fact is a very convenient way to dehumanize and shut down debate from anyone questioning the rule of the totalitarians now in power.

These tactics are not new: Stalin's Soviet Union; Mao's Communist China; Pol Pot's Cambodia. On and on from the mists of pre-history to this mornings' dawn. It now runs America. God help us.

It's not you, Bill. These people are crazy. Crazy with power. HR1 is an abomination. It can't be constitutional. I guess Pelosi has the votes in the House. The new Senate is probably trouble too. Also, this is no time for horrible GOP leadership, but that is what we have.

I think you're exactly right Steve. Like when Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez calls for liberating the southern states while meaning to conquer the southern states, when the Totalitarian Socialist Democrats say unify, they really mean submit.

A fitting response to all this Leftist nonsense is the same one given by Gen. Anthony McAuliffe to the Nazi Germans in 1945: "Nuts!"

Too bad the GOP Senate and House leadership refuse to respond in an appropriate manner to the alarming totalitarian behavior of the Democrats. Chinese profiteer Mitch McConnell should be taken out of his position as Senate Republican leader. In my opinion, failing to do that will be a fatal mistake for the GOP.

The GOP is no MAGA party and hasn't been one for a long time. We are where we are.

The first response from free people to the hostile actions from totalitarian global oligarchs should be to cancel Facebook, Twitter, Amazon Prime, Audible, Whasapp, mainstream media, and don't buy Chinese stuff. I'm sure there is more but this is a good start.

Stan: Yeah, a good example of what you are talking about is that Cawthorn kid from over in the NC 11th Congressional District. I'm thinking about calling him and declaring him as my de facto representative, even though I can't vote for him.

I'm kind of disappointed in some other Republicans in the North Carolina delegation with the recent events. Even though they didn't vote with the Liz Cheney contingent in the latest impeachment circus, some of their rhetoric was just as bad.

Ah, but the Democratic Socialist Party does have at least one young star. Ta da - AOC. But, to make up for the young part that dish did get an extra dollop of stupid.

I have some concerns about Republicans communicating these issues effectively when many Republican office holders don't actually believe in an America first policy when it comes right down to it. Too many politicians of all stripes represent the people and agendas that own them and not the people they supposedly represent.

Sadly, the GOP is just one more western institution that needs a thorough housecleaning in order to claim any credibility. If they don't embrace MAGA they are done. Recent actions don't make me optimistic.

"Too little to late" or yep they got away with it again. We've got a long way to go in establishing honest elections and we've got a long way to go in draining a very nasty swamp.

Well the thing is, the Left IS smearing many of us. They have been doing it for a long time. Over the last four years they have intensified their attacks greatly. At this time they have upped the ante on smearing and slandering anyone that disagrees with their radical agenda. They are in a frenzy.

We SHOULD have stood up to these people a long time ago, but many of us tried to be nice and kept letting things go - a little bit here a little bit there. That's never a good idea when dealing with a bully (or a crook). Now we find ourselves in the situation we are in today; a situation where these people mean us great harm.

It's easier in the long run to stand up to these things early. Now we have a real problem in how to stop the threat these dangerous people pose to us, our communities and our world.

Of course we must resist if we wish to be free. We also have to tread thoughtfully and carefully, because we have allowed ourselves to be herded into a very dangerous corral of sorts. At this point even making all the correct moves could be very tricky and very messy. The enemies of our way of life planning to "reset the world" are about as diabolical a foe as we are ever to encounter. They are tightening down the screws on us and don't plan to stop.

If we don't approach freedom as a way of living our lives we are likely to lose. One way or another I choose to live free if I can.

It's interesting that the North Carolina governor didn't have security concerns during the violence and destruction in Raleigh and other locations last summer. He did send some state resources to help the vandals finish their destruction of public property though.

The level of duplicity and hypocrisy we are experiencing now is truly astounding. The left is intentionally polarizing this country in a way I have never seen before. Yes. We should be concerned. They do not have good intentions.

Good tips John.

I'm in the process of doing the things you have suggested. I like the DuckDuckGo search engine. I'm weaning myself off Amazon. It does work good to find the product on Amazon and then buy the product from the actual manufacturer.

A person would have to be crazy to willingly do business with companies that hate our country, our constitution and bill of rights, our way of life and have the goal of making you and me their serfs. It's really sick that these corporate oligarchs expect us to fall in line with this self destructive insanity they are imposing on us.

I went to the WWG1WGA party website and printed their "WALL OF SHAME - Corporations Funding Chaos in America" list. I've merged it with my personal file. This listing is getting real long.

It seems I'm cataloging all kinds of things these days. For example, my non-trusted politicians list is getting longer and longer and my trusted politicians list is getting shorter and shorter.

These crazy times are forcing me to look at various categories: spiritual leadership, civic leadership, friends, and enemies. Everything.

I'm keeping my friends close and warily watching all else. I recommend all good people do the same.

At the rate of speed of this purge, will there soon be ANY sanity left in our government? The totalitarian madmen (and madwomen like the witch from San Francisco) see a clear field before them, and it's not likely they will soon stop willingly.

Anyone laughing about George Orwell's 1984 these days would have to be an ignoramus, an idiot or perhaps a megalomaniacal criminal. Orwell, Aldous Huxley and Ayn Rand have proven to be prophets.

All Patriots should follow Rush Limbaugh's lead and delete our Twitter accounts. In fact we should flee from all the Big Tech accounts possible that are engaging in this coordinated attack on free speech, our country and on our way of life. Further, Patriots should not do business with any corporate entity that is pushing this dishonest totalitarian doctrine down the throats of free people.

Many in the corporate world are actively working to transform or reset our world to reflect their vision of how things should be. They are opposed to our constitution and Bill of Rights and in fact are working to tear down Western Civilization itself.

If they are successful in their dastardly plans they will implement a worldwide neo feudalism on the free world. Their plans for making our grandchildren peasant serfs in their newly designed world just doesn't sit right with me.

I agree with your assessment. Of course the mainstream media has immediately chimed in on cue and will undoubtedly continue hammering away with their depraved narrative. I think the thing that has bothered me the most is seeing how many elected Republicans have used this contrived incident to, publically and with great fanfare, bail from the efforts to work for honest elections. How convenient and how pathetically disappointing.

Although, I do see a silver lining; now there is little doubt concerning who is who and where everyone stands. Obviously, the swamp is very, very deep and very, very wide.

This is just separating the wheat from the chaff. We can't have a free Republic without credible free and fair elections. Those not interested in that result should not be supported. Those people have identified themselves.

A Republican Party at odds with making America great doesn't deserve the support of free citizens. Take MAGA out of the Republican Party and there's not much left other than corruption, cronyism and self-serving treason. Those Republicans rejecting MAGA are not worth supporting.

The modern Democrats have chosen a path of open socialism, globalism and totalitarianism. An opposition party that will not stand against such abominations must be either reformed or shunned.

I really wonder if the present day GOP is worth fixing. The way things are now we probably don't have time to fix it. Patriots should only support trusted people committed to saving our constitutional republic and our way of life. We no longer have the luxury of rolling the dice and taking a chance on suspect so called lesser of the evil characters presented before us. Our world is under full-fledged attack by evil.

Yes, on 6 January 2021 the Republican Party formally killed itself.

Regarding the "fools, their pawns, [and] their dupes:" I've got to really think about whether they should be punished or not, after all they have put me, my family and my friends through. This is a real test. I guess my mercy will depend on them and the magnitude of their crimes.

Of course if they win all bets are off.

Back in the '80s I had the pleasure of serving with a Korean American soldier that had once been a ROC soldier. That dude was one first class soldier. I'm not a big guy and he's about my size. In a critical situation with a choice of him or King Kong, I would choose him every time.

Regarding assimilation situations within this country: LOL. I've got some friends in Texas. They're getting kind of frustrated with the Californian refugees that seem to have amnesia about why they left. I just shake my head in empathy.

Marxist groups have been funding and organizing rallies, protests and riots for decades on May Day. It's sad to see North Carolina teachers joining the fray.
